So...is there anything about the new update that you do like or do you like to just focus on the negative (for you)? 😅
I guess we are dodging the topic here. I don't want to praise any work for the bare minimum (and in fact I already said I what to say for this update multiple times), so I prefer to focus on points needed to improve.

Physics on anything of small scale (ex: not flags or capes) is completely useless and a waste of resources. And I was simply pointing out that out of the many things the game needs desperate improvement in (player swim mechanic since zombies have it, proper VFX for hit feedback or improved dismemberment visuals, and hey I guess with limb physics when detached), we get bouncing tiddies.

But nah let's keep playing defensive, dodge and avoid criticism. Praise everything they give us, because it's surely a blessing seeing that juicy discord tag.

Bring the poop reactions and call me a hater all you want, just have some arguments at least.

Some of us real men like breast jiggle physics.  Give it a few years and chest hairs.  You may learn to love it.
I never said I didn't like it, though I prefer the real thing.

I love the idea of the extra 2 slots. It will really allow the player to have multiple options to deal with different situations without having to swap items out.

This is a thumbs up from me. 👍

Agree, first though when read about it was mixed. "Another two slots just like that ? Yeah, but in the belt! " Good addition for more stuff such as medical or food among weapons and tools.

Can i make a request for game options? I was thinking about it and it does work to have loot abundance and loot chance tied together, but what if we had them separate?  like leave the loot abundance at 100% but we can change the chance of loot actually being in the container by a certain percent?  I'm not saying its broken, just thinking of interesting things.

And increased belt size, this makes me happy, now i can keep everything i want on the belt without swapping, hopefully haha

Yeah. I like the idea we can have food, tools or just something, lol. It's just a really nice touch.

Any chance we can get simple color variations similar to this for zombies? This is how a modder, Waalx, handled adding tons of assets to the game Oblivion to add a lot of variation for little work. They made each armor/creature variant using small variations (color and complexity) of the base to create a lot of variety.

You'll see the daggers on the hip vary, the color of the armor varies, the number of pauldrons, quality of the material, etc)

With zombies that could be as simple as: (using the business Zombie as an example) having variations of the Zombie's inner business shirt color, different ties, different business jacket, different cuts locations on the jacket.

You guys probably dont have a huge team, so even simple changes like color variations could be a sufficient enough to add a ton of variation.

Question about "things removed from the game" and their persistence in the code base: Are there any items/game mechanics/etc that are removed from vanilla but are planned to be left in for modding/usage *in the long term*?  Like, because someone/people love the mechanic/item/thing but its not geared towards the vanilla game?

I know the answer is probably "no", but ... I spend too much time thinking about these things ;)

I'll use a specific example: I read "vomiting" was removed in a19.  As a complete outsider, this seems like a basic human and "unique" game mechanic and I thought it was cool as a way to punish players for making bad choices (eating the wrong food/water).  A bunch of "injury related" things appeared in a19 (which I love!) to make you have to take care of yourself and try to make "less bad choices" while fighting zeds.   Vomiting seems like a nice punishment for being a bad eater, but maybe it was too harsh (as implemented) for vanilla players. The code is already written (yeah, maintained, tested, etc. for something not being used isn't a good idea) but maybe some of these things do get "left in"? Maybe because...

- Its planned on being used, just reworked, so the code stays around to go through dev cycles

- Someone at TFP or a crazy band of fans, like it but its just not a mechanic for everyone

An aside:

The dysentery punishment persists (for punishing bad drinking). You could argue that the character doesn't (never did) stop and crap their pants mid-fight because they had severe untreated dysentery... however awesome that would be ...but .... if it *was* in the game I would argue to leave that trigger/action/code in if only for the modders/fans!  I've also been seeing several modders making mods to "put back" beloved stuff that was removed in the game.  You can put back items, blocks, etc, but a built in mechanic that involves special player movements, etc. likely can't be put back in if its taken out.

It looks cool. I like how you have the tower for killing linked with the bridge. Are you adding a second killing tower?
i am, perfect spacing between to i have plates on the outside, rounded tops for walking between them so if one is going to fail i walk to the next, simple, easy to implement, can make bigger when demolishers show up

Yeah, that's a cool idea. It should be easy too to add to it if it needs it too. It looks good so far mate.

I am so not used to seeing so much Space! Thanks Fun pimps!

Also fire comes out of the barrel of the bunderbuss when you are done firing! Very nice!

You should put the blinking lights on the defense tower and put a sign about saying zombies apply here, lol. And then a shotgun turret above!

anyone having a problem with pop in?

like when you turn you're head and the tree just go away?
We have had that.
