Thank you, i also heard what MM said, but i think the real reason is not, because the interface is now clogged much more than before, it is full of unnecessary information that distracts from the immersion.Madmole has stated plenty of times in the past why its not part of the display hud. MM feels it is better to have less clutter on screen because having to much is immersive breaking, which I tend to agree and I hope they never add it in. I hope this clears things up for you my friend.![]()
Strange, but my notions about informativeness utterly other, i contrary believe that those things which removed with on a screen now - were are needed for better understanding of situation. It just seems to me that this is what a person feels directly at every moment...incidentally, the display of food and water in most games looks exactly as it was before, so the majority believes that this is more appropriate ... so same popularity mods on HUD, too, points to this....strange things. Are you asking about user interface information level or immersion/reality?
There is some information not displayed. For example if your are full, you don't see how much you have eaten above being simply full. That information would be nice to have but not essential and (coming back to reality) often won't be easy to know in reality.
The same with thirst, you will only notice thirst WHEN you are really thirsty, more detail you only find in the status display. One could argue this is also similar to reality, because you often notice that only when your mouth gets dry.
In a way your subconciousness is shown on your HUD, your consciousness is able to discern more about your state and that is hidden in your status display.
I still think there are other reasons, perhaps technical or legal... therefore, now it is done so and it is filed as "cool" because there is no possibility to do the normal.
Very often cool features are removed from this game and it is presented as "goodness", although in fact the developers solve with the help of this - quite different problems...
