Anyone else noticed if stealth breaks at level 5 ?
It seems as though once I grabbed the level 5 (Shadow Ninja) Zeds are now running at me from other rooms in POI's even though I am moving as quietly as I have ever moved.

There are moments where I have taken a single step, waited till sound dropped completely, then taken another step and even this is enough to trigger a bunch smashing their way out of things and barreling their way across the room towards me. Prior to taking level 5 I was able to clear whole POI's barely alerting anyone.

I have a silenced pistol which used to work fine, not anymore though it seems...

I have not changed any armor, nor am I using a headlamp. I have basically been stuck with the same set of armor for 20 odd levels, so it's not like armor change has made things different either.

I'm a bit stumped as to why it would all of a sudden feel like getting level 5 was a step backwards, but I'm kinda regretting it
I've had a couple POIs that seemed to suddenly not only ignore my ability to sneak right up to things, but literally wake up the entire room the second I step inside it almost like an event trigger. I was thinking it may be specific POIs that's broken since it's only happened to me twice. Next time I run into it I'll take note of the exact POI and try to test it.

 
Doesn't he only buy 3 coolers at once?
If you see the Munching Carpet store or maybe that paper mill harvest all the tubes, I got quite a bit if money selling stacks of paper. I built a chest outside the trader to store the overstock and then sold on reset day :)

I'm currently playing on 90 minute days. My money making strategy early on consists of three methods:
1. Tier 1 Buried Supplies quests. They're quick, easy to find, nearby, and net you several hundred dukes per quest.

2. Looting when I'm not doing buried supplies quests and selling everything of value (armor I don't need, guns I won't use, old cash, silver/gold nuggets, etc.

3. Coolers. 8 polymers make one cooler, which is worth 60 dukes. I harvest every tire I see and turn a profit. I made and sold 20 of them on day 2 alone, netting me 1200 dukes

Honestly, making 7k in 3 days (on 90 minute days) isn't too hard; on 60 minute days, I probably would have made the same amount by day 5

Thanks for the tip on the coolers. Repairing higher tier weapons to sell well but I think most people know that one already.

OK, perhaps its a POI thing then. I am currently running tier 3. The last one I did was the one where you enter the garage and walk across a wooden gangplank into the house which takes you into a concrete tunnel (kinda like a drainpipe) this pipe then drops you through a hatch into some sort of facility where the final room ends up being an elevator shaft that takes you back up into the house garage. (most notable thing about this garage is that it has a vault door on it, which kinda piques interest when you walk past it)

Yes, what you say is the same with me, entire rooms full of zeds just charge out from other rooms when I haven't even made a sound.

 
Madmole, can we please have items compare raw stats only? Pretty sure that everyone is aware that any modifications added will adjust the stats accordingly if swapped.

Comparisons atm seem to be some kind of weird voodoo that take into consideration things like, ammo loaded and what mods are installed etc... (perhaps even with a dash of skill modification??)

No idea what's going on, but its currently REALLY janky to compare 'apples for apples'.

@Madmole: I'm not sure if anyone looked at it, but I did the tier 1 quest in that yellow trailer you climb up a stack of cars and drop in the roof of.

My gamestage at day 20 is probably pretty high because of the non stop screamer spawns, but I'd think a tier 1 quest would ignore that with restrictions.

In the kitchen loot room this time was 1 military guy and 1 radiation suit guy, easily handled by my junk turret buddy n myself. ;)

Those seem high for a tire 1 clear quest, but the loot there IS great.

MM, are you picking Diaz or Masvidal?
For who is the bigger ♥♥♥♥♥? I can't believe this joke fight, neither one of those guys could beat a top 155r let alone hang with a proper beast of a 170 fighter. On top of that the president is going, and the rock is presenting a fake BMF belt. Its turning into a circus. Neither one of those guys could beat:

Usman, Woodley, Covington (who also sucks), Dos Anjos, Santiago P, Lawler on a good day, Luque would just destroy them, and Gilbert Burns will be top ten soon, that guy is getting good.

Have a look at their resume, they have been beat by scrubs on many occasions. I could throw a list of 155'rs that would decimate them too.

That said, I think Masvidal will get it done, he's been training with Yoel the last couple years (hello flying knee tech) and has improved a little. He used to coast though when he thought he was winning years ago, and that annoys me when fighters do that. They should go for the kill the entire fight. Diaz is just a boxer with a bit of ground game, but he has no kicks, and not a single good win. Beating Tiny Pettis is nothing he couldn't even make it at 145 and was exposed at 155.

Its a complete joke that one of these bozos might get a title fight after not putting in any work at all at 170.

 
Ehh, it's fine. They're unbalanced, but nowhere near what picnic tables were. There's plenty more ways to make money. ;)
In all honesty I should probably mention all those spare work station schematics sell for a fair amount of dukes...

Off topic, but since you are doing low carb, have you tried Chaffles yet? They are not only easy to make, but AMAZING!

 
Part of playing experimental is giving feedback both good and bad. Workbenches and cement mixers are in a ton of locations, and its easy on even the bike to snag 5 or 6 extras and flip them for dukes. Maybe they shouldn't even have a sell value?

Unlike forges. I have noticed the lack of forges in POI's compared to the other workstations. *Shrugs*

This is kind of a problem I've been seeing with MMA lately, and what sorta was a part in killing boxing: the fighters (and I suppose maybe organizers) are picky picky picky and only pick certain fights and etc instead of putting the best vs best in title matches.

Hopefully. I'll ask again its annoying remove your mods for a proper compare.
