Could do with an official TFP updated explanation how heat works in the game as I am hearing so many different outcomes it’s confusing what to aim for and what to avoid.

There are so many fun things like that. Not sure why, but favorite of our server is the trailer that says something like "Beware - Dog, Snek, Pig" Every time we see a snake "SNEK SNEK SNEK"

I'm "hearing" that there are still bugs in it. They probably have to find the bugs first before they can explain them.

 
Weird. Knock on wood, havent seen a single screamer yet. My home uses 2 candles, and have one forge, workstation, and chem station. My horde base has 10 torches and 2 electric lights.
Maybe living in the snow biome....help keeps the "heat"map cool lololol.

I’m playing an agility build right now and found the AK-47 schematic on day 2. I’m wondering what the benefit is from crafting this gun because i’m never goung to put a single point in the fortitude tree. (So a lvl 1 AK-47 in this case if I would craft one)
It would be a cool option to find other special parts to upgrade weapons/tools where you didn’t perk into.

A lot of loot is intended to simply sell if you aren't specialized or have an interest in it.

 
we are having aconversation here mate no need to be overly sarcastic, and i am not talking about mid game medicine, i am talking about the most basic bandages the ones that stop the bleeding not the ones that heal you up, they need cloth to be crafted, before i would just get some cotton craft the cloth and then craft the bandage now to craft the cloth i need a book, to be more precise the book number 6 of the wasteland collection, once again (just as with the club) by the time i get that book i would have probably hoarded enough cloth from looting as to not need it anymore, so again i dont get what i need when i need it but much later when i dont, do you now see what i meant that day when i said that RNG is not a very popular feature in the gamng industry? ( i havent found any painkillers yet but i am glad they have been improved)

yeah i admit i havent grasped the full new concept yet so i am not gonna give up on it.

No you don't need anything to craft the plain bandages, just cloth, no perk no book. The wasteland treasures book lets you craft cloth from plant fibers so you can survive in any biome that doesn't have cotton available.

That book would come in handy in pvp where you lost everything, or a destroy everything on death option, spawn without a bedroll somewhere, etc.

There are some discounted recipes (mainly meat) if you buy the perk so that perks are always superior to a plain schematic unlock.

 
HOW do you reload a flashlight lol.
WHAT ammo does it take.

It had to be fixed because DC would not give up the license on hard light doing noticeable damage.

And we really didn't want players rhyming to recharge it.

 
Jax was right about the Pig/Magic corn POI. For A18, the amount of glue you end up making ends any worries for awhile, you can also get between 8-10 farm plots as well. If you clear it before you do a quest for it, its almost game breaking.

The meat and the magic corn is nice but to make seeds you need the farming perk level 5 which is 9 more points from perk 4. With pumpkins, who needs magic corn anyways. :)

 
Hope somebody can explain something for me. In the Intelect build under advanced engineerings level 3 you start getting the cost of crafting steel being reduced, with level 4 and 5 even more. How is that possible as crafting steel is only available at level 5 ?

Start checking the traders around game-stage 40+ for the crucible.

I bought one around that GS and some time later later found another one.

 
I'm sorry if this has been brought up before, but can we talk about the Steel Pickaxe? The swing animation looks funky. Not James Brown funky either, like Rick James on yo couch funky.

I get that the speed of swings for basically everything was buffed (and that's been fantastic for prison shank harvesting animal carcasses), but it seems unnatural to have a normal buildup, and then a momentary-buff-from-the-speedforce downswing.

Otherwise, I'm loving everything. Just found a compound bow and Hoo-boy!
