so is A18.1 B2 EXP considered STABLE or still EXP? I got it while setup to download Latest EXP.
some servers are confused and calling it STABLE and not EXP

No, A18.1 B2 is experimental. They have to opt out of experimental now and run A18.0 stable.

 
Given their toughness I think boars need to be hostile/run away once they sense you.

Have you ever fought a boar IRL before? I haven't, but I hear that they will continue fighting until death. Sure, they have their predators, but most animals know to leave them the heck alone. :p

 
Hopefully that and vehicle mods can be the Christmas update. ;)
That said there is always a lot of positive energy in the forums with exp releases. Why not just keep releasing exp updates and only post a steam password here for them? Those long dry spells between updates are soul crushing.

You, Gazz, And Fataal have been AMAZING keeping up with the development interaction, and it's great to feel more in the loop with you guys instead of being sidelined for ages between updates. Build upon it, if possible.

I'd say this or that, but then if we don't ship by x or y, I get called a big fat liar. I'll just show stuff "when its done" and release stuff "when its done" and we'll see what happens from here.

 
Those are my new favorite settings. Air drops once every 7 days with map marker.

I agree. Gives just the right amount of difficulty for me solo atm and still be able to enjoy everything new/learn the new stuff. I'm STILL discovering new thing, love it.

Although, this save is a patch behind, and I've worked my butt off hording resources. Going to make a couple dart trap setups, make grenades, mollys, more ammo and then turn horde nights on every night with minimal 24 hour cycle as possible.

Gamestage ~200, don't remember. Bring it on :D Gonna see how long I can go before my base is breached and I die.

Had just enough steel to put steel on the inital wall with some leftover for repairs, btw love the new steel block look. I liked the old one, but this one is equally or better for my liking.

There should be an unlimited horde setting/mode that tracks how long you survive. Forums would explode with top score bragging...😎

That's a good idea and would work well for servers modded with quick, last man standing game types.

Its coming along, not quite 100% your design any more, I'm going taller and doing a castle like look. Is it 12x12? I'm still confused about that crafting wall because I can't fit everything under it, I'm one block short.
Here it was before horde night, It has a roof now mid day on day 22.

Yeah I'm going to go at least 2 deep on my foundation I'm sick of those bastards getting under my base. I haven't even dug the basement out all the way yet so they walked up the slope and broke my floor out and crawled up inside. Jerks. Now I have to go hunting. There was a nice motorbike for sale but I couldn't afford it, its gone now. I can't stop buying books though so its hard to save up that big chunk of money for a proper vehicle.

Each build I try something different to keep it interesting and see how it works, and try to use more blocks/shapes just to push the boundaries of my imagination a bit. I mean its always a tower of sorts. Having the drive in draw bridge setup is great to unload your gear after looting.

 
Besides, it would be unconventional to skip from A33 to A35. Who does that?

Uh, it's obvious. Alpha 34 would be so awesome, and Alpha 35 as well, that they would have to combine the two. So it goes Alpha 33, Alpha 35, etc. etc.

There should be an item (end game) that summons an infinite horde for when it's time to wipe game and start over. I cam see people wanting to have a last hurrah and brag how long their horde bases/stock piles lasted before biting the dust...😎👍

Jerks indeed hah tricky zombies. I'll have to get screenshots of my base before I go on infinite horde night mode and it gets destroyed, it definitely could be incorporated into more elaborate builds. Next build i WILL BE having some sort of ariel protection. I am getting utterly sick of the damn buzzards rofl.

I didn't get a motorcycle this round, but I did just get the 4x4 which helped me amass resources. I feel you about books at traders, everytime I see one it's "Ooo piece of candy!". All of my duke coins are going in the forge for my horde runs though now, I've got what I need anyway.

Yeah I'll definitely be trying that. I like how you used the hill there with the drawbridge. Mainly, I get overwhelmed with the block-building because this is the first game I've ever played with block building, so I just need to practice - going to do so soon. I have no problem building bases that defend, nice looking ones that defend, on the other hand... lol
