Windows 7 still has between 25% and 30% market share. Microsoft does not want to support it any longer, as its expensive. But they might be forced to do so. Especially if there are still big companies that have not upgraded their workstations.

That stats doesn't tell how many are gamers in them. Most Big Companies, Govt do not upgrade easily, because well they need permission from local congress, but they still count in these reports. I am sure 90% gamers are already on win 10.. and I am sure TFP has their own stats of what machines their game is installed, so they can make decision from those reports.

I believe there were talks (from unsited sources) that they were considering support for companies (for example), but that the average citizen would have about a year to convert over to a Windows 10 operating system for a much reduced price. After that, the deal would be off for the average Joe, but companies/organizations could be under a permanent (or very nearly so) contract/support system. But this was all rumored to be leaked information, and I didn't dive too deep into it, so take this with a large pinch of salt.
You can still upgrade your Win 7 key to Win 10. Just install it Win 10 and I guess putting win 7 key get it activated. [i read about it somewhere, but don't have old key to test myself.

Dude what? Read again what he said. Read it and think about it. Thoroughly.
It says "We want to make the first twenty hours polished and amazing," and I believe he is referring to 20hr of game play. And yes, I do not expect most of people to understand what I am saying. But believe MM will understand it.

Win 7 is currently used by 18% of the Steam playerbase.

Thats not negligible.

Linux with <1% however is. (as client)

I like gun jamming, it realistically relates to item skill (gun maintainance) and gun level (product quality / age). And gives tension, if you might have a jam at the wrong moment.

Maybe with a counter strategy for the player, such that the first bullet always fires.

-> making the player always check that the gun it fully loaded.
SphereII and I discussed adding weapon jamming. If done well it could add excitement in tough situations. Probability would be linked to weapon condition, and maybe mitigated somewhat by a perk. Mechanic would be the jamming would simply require a weapon reload to clear. No repair involved but repairing a weapon would reduce jamming probability.

I like it.
I would not call it unrealistic, since you can stab a knife that fast. I watched 3:10 to Yuma recently and Russell Crowe stabbed a sleeping guy in the neck with a fork many times in a short period of time. Try it yourself and see, but not on an actual person. ;)
Video games don't cause violence.

Video game designers do!

Omg, that's one of my all times favorite right there, 3:10 to Yuma and Law Abiding Citizen great movies.

i think it could be like Gun jamming from Far Cry 2.

the less maintained your gun is the higher chance of it jamming. so when it happens you beat on the gun and try to unjam it.

it done right i could be really cool!

16 max alive, intel/agility traps build

60 min days

im still very salty about losing all my stuff. i had a purple shotgun and hunting rifle. and alot of stuff. hope they fix that!

So day 105. I have my horde-night base done, and finally loving it. 485 confirmed kills, and I lost a few iron spikes from them cutting a corner. Game stage 188 I believe. It was pretty exciting, as there is literally no safe gap or blockage between you and the zombies. Just some good old tower defense tactics. Force them through a choke point, concentrate fire from 4 shotgun turrets. Slow them with a electric fence, and you with Penetration perk, hunting rifle and AP rounds looking down the line of zombies.

Feels kinda stupid that I built that huge tower monstrosity with all the iron bars and stuff, and here is a elegant and simple solution XD

I stumbled upon a giant wasteland city on day 11 of my current build. And, I got to say it's a real challenge. The zombie density is higher and I'm getting swarmed by them constantly. It's been a fun challenge.

Yeah I stopped watching the show cause of all the crying and drama, especially because most of it didn't even make sense.
For years before I stopped watching I would just make fun of the drama and watch it like a comedy.

Like slow zombies are not that difficult... wild animals are more of a threat... poorer places in the world probably wish they only had slow zombies and the few bandits they have to deal with, lel.

gets shown every now and then whenever someone mentions the slow zombies are not difficult

I'd like to see more environmental changes like the new rage mode to add excitement than smashing the reload/repair/any other key to solve a situation that's based on RNG to a certain point. IMO features like weapon jamming are soul crushing and annoying. I don't like it. I don't want it. The rage mode is a step into the right direction to spice up the fights.

i think when zombies go into a rage!

they should go into a stance and roar and scream.

and some attacks should be telegraph so you can tell what they will do!

Bite for infection

Scratch for bleed

And a Tackle for stun!

Steel upgrade to reinforced concrete. For the defense to work, the easiest path has to be full frontal assault for them. Else they just break through the wall and swarm you.

This is a nonstarter. It might cause someone to die. You can't have that in a survival game. Well, not this "survival" game.
