Guys I'm a player too. I'm looking forward to crafting one for my dukes and mods, god forbid a demolisher blow up in my crafting room. Those wooden boxes aren't going to hold up.

So envious yr mum plays 7dtd, coolest thing I've heard in a long time. My mum walked in one time I was playing mp "I'mma sell all these quality hoes to the trader for a ton of money." She's been distant ever since.

I remember you talking a while back about having all tiers of quests available to us even after we have advanced to higher tiers. I just did a tier 3 quest and it took me most of the day. One entire day used up for a quest is not efficient. I'd love to stick to the tier 2 quests.

Hmm, I have never recorded before, nor streamed etc. My son may know how to do it, not sure my rig is set up for it. Could be fun though, but I would want to edit it somehow, I always prefer well edited videos, but I know it's a lot of extra work. Actually for this I'd prob just record and post since it'd mainly be for you guys, I've no interest in starting a channel or anything, but I do love sharing with this awesome and unique community. So I'll look into it.

Windows 10 has built in recording through some xbox game center or you can use shadow play if you have nvidia. Up to you if you want to edit/narrarate. I recommend raw footage first to save you time.

I use windows movie maker to cut out long boring/tedious parts from my recordings.

 
It's not really that farfetched. If the trader has a bike for sale I almost always have one by end of first day. Between the quests giving dukes, the rewards from the quests, and the loot it adds up really fast. Some of the clothes sell for 100+ dukes a pop and are plentiful, repair kits sell for a good amount and are easy to make. Although I wasn't saying that's all from trader. It was a combo of Looting+Trader at 100% loot.
It was also on a MP server so I was JUST looting while someone else was building a base, but thats pretty common when playing with more then 1 person so granted balance is faaaarrr harder when you start throwing more people in/

After the loot patch goes thru my server is going to start over and i'll keep a more accurate log of what i'm finding at what levels with my playtime on server as I find it to give more feedback on it.

Everyone on the server agrees by far that its the best update by far, just that as its been acknowledged loot flows pretty fast.

It's the most fun i've had in 7dtd in 5+ years, and its so rewarding to see everything come together.

Sounds good. Traders no longer sell top tier items and the MP game stage loot formula is changed, it will be the highest level guy in the groups loot not a combination, so it should play more like SP.

 
This is a pretty neat idea with the gun jam thing. Can't fire it again until you repair it? Maybe make the gun jam fixing kit different from a repair kit. Make it rare to find, expensive to buy and cheap to craft. Crafting gets more useful now. :)

I hate everything about this idea. Gun jamming? That's just more needless tedium. This game doesn't need more of that - they've gone a terrific job of removing the tedium while keeping the fun and challenge. Let's not walk that backwards.

Speaking of top tier items, does the trader start selling solar by Better Barter 4/5 or is it 5/5? Cannot remember...

And good show! I would have been an idiot not to buy that T6 AK on day 4, but after I purchased it, I knew I had skipped a massive layer of progression. Only very recently did I find an upgrade.

Gun jamming sounds like a great idea if implemented correctly. Imagine the adrenaline rush one would get if they are backed in to a corner of a room with only 1 way to get in and out and you have 5 zombies running in at you and then boom, weapon jamms. ahhhhh I can feel the rush just thinking about it. Brings me back to my military days :)

Now that we have seen your base and BM tower, you need to record some BMs for us. They are super fun to watch. I'm planning to record my day 21 BM but not there yet. My son has had a cold for the past couple of days and havent been able to play. My withdrawl symptoms are real.....lol.....damn you MM!

Record BMs? I mean, I try to tell my wife the details about color, consistency, frequency, etc. (you know, in case I become ill suddenly and the doctor needs to know); but I think she would kill me if I recorded and made her watch.

Plus, depending on the BM, there will be lots of grunting and sweating. Is that really something people want to watch?

 
That one slipped under my radar, I’m definitely buying that card, it’s a good one.
Walker is so fun to watch. Is he on a massive streak of good luck vs mid tier opponents, or is he THAT good? He seems legit so far.

How about Weidman? Lol —- just as I expected.

I think he is legit, but yeah its hard to say, he might have zero ground game. I just know he is super exciting to watch, gifted genetics and a very gifted athlete. I think he is a very dangerous striker for sure, but maybe he has a kryptonite. WHat scares me is he trains with english guys and not brazlians, and his resume says nothing of juijitsu. So he might not have much off his back, but if he puts everyone out in ten seconds maybe he doesn't need it.

I buy every event and have espn+ subscription.

Weidman needs to go down to 170 and wreck Usman and Covington. Wrestlers with crappy striking are dominating that division, that is where he could shine. He wasn't that big of a 185r he could make 170.

 
Your right on that but maybe it could be used with oil shale to make gas, and used in every electricity item. I know you guys can seamlessly blend it in more. Make junk ammo use lead instead of iron. I don’t know but yeah maybe reducing it or leaving it as is, not really a big deal to be honest.

So far I notice I hardly play with the bow anymore since I found enough ammo and weapons on day 1 and 2... I just make sure I have enough ammo for day 7. Tho I feel bad because I love using the bow much more. It feels more "survival" in a way...

I use rifle and shotgun much more then before or pistol with silencer.

After playing the experimental for some time now I just think it's too simple... too much ammo and weaponry... Seems everywhere.

Ok u can alter loot to 75% or less but I also have a few friends who I play with and dont have that amount of hours in the game as I.

The horde nights are fun but we start all over again with every new experimental release so I wonder what day 49/56 etc will look like after the first full release of A18.

It gets nasty. The idea is to support specializing in any weapon you want, not be forced to use whatever you find, and what seems like a lot of ammo now will feel very limited later game. We are still balancing it too.

 
I meant the size of them grown and unharvested. The model of the jack looks fantastic, other than being unlit.
Craftworks already did a mod that adds the flickering candlelight to it.. I think that was intended, because it has a light value of .5, but casts no light.

Its bugged and shouldn't even gone into the release yet. Hopefully fixed in the next patch.

That best be sarcasm, don't you dare take base building backwards. You need a workbench and they aren't overly cheap/easy to make, especially the big safes, those take a ton of steel each. They're an investment, and most players don't even think to use them. If they became wildly popular and problematic somehow then maybe increase the challenge of crafting them, at most, but don't ... wait, Roland trollin me thinks... haha, you got me, yay, now shoosh on nerfing safes.

With demolishers and cost of concrete I will make a couple for sure, one big gun safe and a small one for mods/dukes.
