Correct!
Think of As as Tier 6 that you are allowed to craft. Don’t stop at Tier 5 if you can craft higher!
but what if i wanted to change what weapon tier i want

got my brawling up to 5 now time to work on knifes! :highly_amused:

It means "cup of tea" or "gallon of piss" depending....
or bottle of acid?

I'm getting real tired of this misconception of what I said. For the last time, we want to make the first twenty hours polished and amazing so they actually get addicted and see many many 100+ hour characters. How can they get to 50 hours if they quit before 20 because of bugs, poor performance or lack of balance?
We are not targeting casuals or skipping late game. FFS, Alpha 18 is evidence enough, its 100+ hours now to play a decent build and you still don't have all purple gear and every book unlocked. Any casual would rage quit this game. The game is harder than ever with food poisoning, rage zombies, night mare run speeds, etc. The game is longer than ever with a very slow long game of looting and a nasty challenge of zeds.

(please excuse the broken MP purple bug that is fixed in the next update and traders will no longer sell top gear)
The problem I have with TFP stated end game goals is there is no hope.

Humans have a unique quality in the animal kingdom that we hope for a better life, we hope for being better, we hope for safety security and we hope to love and get laid.

While 7D2D does provide the player the hope of getting better (level/gearing up), that gets bland at the high end and eventually the player realizes there is no hope any more and the zombie wasteland has beat them. When we quit and start a new game of 7D2D, the underlaying reason is: The human player lost hope.

There needs to be some mechanic for the players to win. Not necessarily a plot line with a deep story, but something simple like RimWorld and Oxygen Not Included does to "win". Make winning the wasteland very hard, but provide a fracking win condition.. Hell, I got like 1000 hours played in RimWorld but still have not won a single game. It was the hope of winning that kept me going.

For 7D2D Win: Something like build a raft and sail off the edge of the map. Or find a human settlement that welcomes the player. Or build an advanced airplane that can then fly off into safety. Or discover the cure for the zombie virus. Hell, almost win idea is better than the stated plans of "just survive".

7D2D now and the stated intentions provides no hope for the human players to conquer, overcome, get a better life, get laid, etc.

I will never stop asking for this option : no zombie respawn (when you play with no loot respawn). Cleaning an entire map would be a good challenge and a sort of end game.

Hey Roland (or Madmole), I'm kinda following up on a post I made a little bit ago. Do you know the severity of the road issues in RWG? It says "Some road issues in RWG" and I've run into some nasty roads, especially in the desert (trying to go over the awesome new mesas and buttes). Firstly, is that what the 'known issue' is referring to? And secondly, if it is, do you predict this to be resolved in the near future or is it a more complicated fix?

Very Nice.Did u build the structure urself or did u adjust and made some fortifications to a prefab POI?
Oh, I built the whole thing myself; took me a while to find some flat ground. I started off with the tower and built around that. (:

Any plans to touch up on Charismatic Nature? Now that each attribute only affects damage from the weapons in those attributes, the perk seems really weak and only useful half the time as 2 of the levels only add fort + agility. Even the bleed one is kinda meh when a bandage takes 1 second to toss on.

Roads are a known problem. Joel has said A19 in regards to roads so that definitely sounds like more complicated. It will probably also require a wipe and new world which means it wouldn't be appropriate for an 18.x.

MP game stage looks to be a multiple of the players online... so effectively it upped the gamestage which gave higher end drops.
MP game stage? Is there such a thing? As far as I heard gamestage was added for players near each other on horde night, and gamestage of attending players was added when in a quest together.

If there was a MP gamestage, new players on a long-running open server would immediately get ferals and irradiated because on the other side of the map a few high level players are online! Is that the case at the moment?

I think I heard stated intentions that you would be able to join one faction and eliminate the other, i,e, the Duke or the head honcho of white river.

Maybe snowdog wants necrophelia in the game, but we can't do that.
Lmfao sorry but very well said, but I laughed hard at that one. I'm sure he would be thrilled though!

But yeah, indestructable bases, massive farm simulator, etc. is definitely what mods are for, and I think the option to do all of that is greatly available thanks to how they designed the game. But not everyone wants that. It'd be like people saying Skyrim was trash because 500+ mods weren't in the base game to begin with. No point in me digressing more lol, but damn that was funny Joel haha

I was looking in the XMLs just for curiosity reasons and noticed the traders having faction like, hate, neutral, with the Duke being mentioned. Interesting.

Maybe we should wait for bandits...

♥♥♥♥ing good news. Thanks dude ;)

I want to test the waters with vehicle break downs in the future and see how people react to being stranded in the wasteland at night, and give some weight to the grease monkey perk. Imagine like the lock picking minigame but with repair. If people like it, we could consider weapons jamming, and the same minigame to fix it. It could happen frequently on brown and rare on pink.
I just want to say, I kinda hope this doesn't happen or at the very least if it ever is added, it gets removed in like a week lol. I hate everything about the idea of your vehicle randomly just failing for no reason. Like, at that point I'd prolly just give up on all vehicles other than the bicycle.
