I don't know how to publicly enable my avatar though! Lol (*Wink wink* Instructions please? *Nudge nudge*)
I wish i remember lol...sorry. This is the first forum I've ever actually really been a part of so I'm still new to all this. Honestly don't remember how I got the avatar to work lol

Lol It's fine, I'll figure it out sometime. (: In the meanwhile, I've got to record the day 56 horde. ;) And there may be audio in this one. (:

Higher stats, an extra mod slot and an extra effect is underwhelming?
Probably? I mean it does the exact same as the ranks before which is just meh for a legendary if you ask me.

Now a deep blackish purple mixed with a cool name and extra static stat boosting "enchantments" (which is like a beefed up extra random system ) would have it all: both Diablo new color joyful feeling and the gameplay feeling of endless variety.

I can see that. Legendary items should be extremely rare, are an order of magnitude stronger... BUT, they all have a cost to the player!

As the world seems magical, some weapons drain player health, some could cause various debufs.

Edit: But balanced Weapons/Armor is the thing in good games, maybe not in a good book.

If you cannot see the goal post nothing i say will get you to see it. I'm not hating if thats your impression. I love this game and have always supported it since i started playing which is around A8, through word of mouth, my wallet, time spent testing and reporting bugs all the way to helping as many people within the community as possible when they have issues. :)
We have to be able to see goal posts?

Well...uh....I certainly see them. There they are right there. Big old visible goal posts. Yep. Anyone that can’t see those bad boys....I mean why do they come here if they can’t see them...heh...heh...

Ooh...and a volleyball net. Nice.....

Edit2: I have it! Each Legendary weapon takes a portion of your health for as long as it's equipped! This way a player can only have a few items equipped before they are at risked of being "one shot" by zombies/NPC's. :D

Assuming you're not trolling Ganeden :) ; it's because when they tried to convert America to Metric they touted, "It's easily divisible by 10!", so Gazz was making fun of the not uncommon American knee jerk reaction to "dividing by 10" being "Evaaaal!!".
If american auto makers hadn't basically been forced to adopt Metric due to non US part suppliers, well, you wouldn't be able to find a metric wrench in the states.

Doubt it's been even ten years since Home Depot started selling plywood in millimeters. Again, foreign suppliers forcing it on us poor 'mericans! :faint:

Edit: and that's only the plywoods thickness, not the larger X n Y, which is still almost exclusively 4 by 8 _feet_

"This world is a comedy to those that think, a tragedy to those that feel..."

I'm laughing so hard I'm cryin...

I was genuinely curious. I'm 34 so maybe this was before my time but it seems like simple math to me, which isn't imperial or metric.

I guess “passionate” wasn’t the right word. Perhaps it is just that you think of certain gameplay choices as tedious that I think of as fun. But you’ve also enabled the means for us to get our brand of fun via mods so that is wonderful.
My mom, for example, would be super pleased with a dozen more crop varieties, fruit trees, and incorporating irrigation and crop quality to farming as well as growing seasons. I’m fine with none of that being in the base game. The current crops and the planter mechanic is great for me. Too much emphasis on farming would feel tedious to me.

But, anyhow, raiders stealing your stuff does sound awesome for the future as long as I have a chance to track them back to their hidey hole and get revenge....and my stuff back.
I'm super pleased with your mom :)

Just joking, please don't ban me.

I hope zombie AI gets a work in next alpha. For base defense on horde night I still just build a platform zombies run on until they get close then have a two block wide distance they jump to try to swing and hit me behind some iron bars. I could just sit there all night and do nothing and there is practically zero danger. They won't attack the structure that supports me even if it's wood I'm not sure what the fix is but I"d like to see more danger on horde night. I know a lot of people complained about engineer zombies'from A16-A17 changes but this seems to easy. To be fair I play with very high difficulty settings and rulesets but these are my thoughts.

For the radiated zombies: maybe its better to reduce the large patches of glow, and have it look more like cracked skin, that glows, or some other more plausible visual effect. The bright glowing patches look very gamy currently.

I would actually go with them looking more rotten / black stains and some dark smoke effect around them, instead of glowing.

One thing I got to ask.

A long time ago you guys had a poll about how long we are willing to wait for RWG map generation, and it was overwhelming victory something like we dont care how long it takes. I kind of assume this is because nobody wanted to sacrifice their map sizes since the options in that poll included map sizes and much shorter time limits as the options.

When RWG gets more love or is finished or whatever will we have the option to generate large maps again like we used to have? 20k ish

Is this the hope or goal? Or are these small maps only here to stay.

"Small."

Sure, there are plenty of ways to make "magical artifacts" have side effects.

That HP regen mod only kicks in if you're <50% HP.

Some could have bonuses when you are hot/cold/hungry, not wearing armor... we now have lots of means to design gameplay mechanics quickly.

Or like you said, lower stats like max HP, armor, etc. while providing bonuses.
