Yes this is the most successful experimental build we've ever launched, hopefully stable will smash all time concurrent player records.

I would like to point out a tiny typo in the Run and Gun perk. Just for your eyes to see because the team has a lot on their plate right now and I don't know if they did see my report.

The first rank of Run and Gun has an oversight in the last sentence of the Loose Cannon description. It reads "test xml reload" as of a18 b152.

My praises for this wonderful alpha. I really wish it hits the 50.000 peak players for Christmas.

 
Any perk that does not add dmg is pretty much worthless beyond tier 1 right now. :p

I'm level 40ish and yet to put a single point in ANY damage perk atm. Doing great atm, pretty much all blue and purple gear. Might do less damage, but i'm finding the good stuff to use and supplying my group.

No? People use algebra in their day to day without even realizing it.

Did you misread and think I said other maths were worthless? Because I didn't. I'm saying that at a bare minimum, algebra is frikkin' important.

 
Agreed. The game is a lot more fun now. Back when the game was overly tedious I would only use basic stuff, or just not play.
Why do I want to care about keeping a gun T6 when I am busy trying to keep my entire base from being destroyed every 7 days lol.

If some of the people on this forum had their way we would be back to the days of needing to find a bunch of gun parts, to finally craft a T6 gun, that is 10X worse than a basic bow lel. JK, they would probably want you to have to repair the gun after every shot and have it do zero damage.

Yeah the game is a blast now, we're not changing much at this point. Balance and minor things, no more major overhauls, framework changes, etc. We're at a good spot now finally and can add content regularly (don't shoot me if I'm wrong) from here on out.

 
MM and company , Thanks for such a great game . Every alpha has been so very much fun and the latest is no exception. You guys rock , I look forward to whats to come. I have about 2000 hours in and must say that there are VERY few games that have held me like this . BTW , this is a great community , thanks again.

If you file a report properly it will be seen by a tester I can assure you of that. There really is no need to double post. :)

 
I hadnt played skyrim until this year. (started with SE) I gotta admit for never modding anything in my life, nexus/vortex got me into it. (if you can call that modding, it was still a challenge for me tho at first) 80 mods later and many skyrim playthroughs after, it was a blast. Even if I probably spent as much time learning and modding than I did playing (if not more)

Yeah modding is as addictive as playing sometimes.

Or you could start from the beginning again. Just think how fun the game is each time you start a new build. Feels fresh and exciting each time, right? :D

well they way your talking about sounds simple. but the way my teachers talk about it and how we can only do it "there way" then people start to hate it

but when i do it my way then its kinda easy

 
After having played a bit, I like the event system. There have been a few times that I have come around a corner to find the event mob milling about in my path. In the early game, it created that moment of panic, "Do I fight or do I turn back around the corner from them and go the long way around?" It also had that feel from TWD in which the zombies start off in a certain direction because they heard/sensed something, but then they end up encountering the characters. (I'm thinking of the helicopter in season 2 which led the zombies to the farm.) I will say, I have yet to encounter any zombie dogs in the wild, and I've only seen one coyote or wolf.

DaVega mentioned earlier about his zombies having greyish hair. I didn't want to say anything because I'm trying to avoid being associated with DaVega (he has some scree in his head), but I also have noticed this in my game. I haven't wiped since the release, so that could be part of it.

I was never so happy just to find a "wooden bow" today! A world of improvement over my primitive bow, so now I can properly do some stealth kills.

Will the M60 eventually have some sort of sight/scope mods available or will iron sights be the only option for that weapon for balance purposes? Asking on behalf of my Fortitude build buddies.

I'm doubt it. You can put up to a 4x on the AK though and have a pretty decent automatic sniper rifle.

That i can understand. I had the same feelings, not sure why, a few days ago (maybe i jsut woke up on the wrong side of the bed). I kinda ■■■■■ed about it in the discord..then i looked at my report..and low and behold i had a response. To say the least I felt like a ■■■■■■■.... Sometimes it looks like its being overlooked but it will eventually be seen my friend. I had to kick myself in the butt for not having patience, lesson learned though (lesson being don't act hastly or assume a thing when tired or in a bad mood lol). :)
