MM and company , Thanks for such a great game . Every alpha has been so very much fun and the latest is no exception. You guys rock , I look forward to whats to come. I have about 2000 hours in and must say that there are VERY few games that have held me like this . BTW , this is a great community , thanks again.

Melee needs work. When I'm backing up and I power attack with a sledge hammer and miss the zombie shouldn't be able to hit me when we attack at the same time. I'm moving away from his attack. I have a weapon which gives me what...2 or 3 feet more range. Yet the zombie can score a hit and I can't?
I think the sledge range is a bit gimped.

I cant seem to find the auto run option where i map my keys. can somebody tell me where it is? also looking for the option to make my hog allways use the speed increase when i go instead of having to hold down shift. my pinky finger is dyeing a slow painful death.....

I'd like a headshot only kill option at some point. Body shots could slow them down, legs arms could be maimed, but only head shots would kill them.
I really like the mental visual of a bunch of zombies without arms and legs flopping about helplessly unable to follow the player. Nope, no sympathy for zeds here.

That isn't easy. I need something doable with just me and notepad, not c# and 5 programmers who have full plates and deadlines :)
5% chance on swing to harvest double resources. Even on killing blow.

18,759players right now and this is on a friggin' Monday of all days.

Very nice, I don't recall the numbers getting this high during A17 experimental.
Yes this is the most successful experimental build we've ever launched, hopefully stable will smash all time concurrent player records.

Yes!!!
And now the various workstation perks are useless just like I like them to be!! Awesome :)
They aren't worthless. The crafting discount is good and I'm still brainstorming fleshing them all out to be nice. Plus there is no guarantee you will get that schematic, the ones you find might be working or have other loot in them. But at least its a good chance now or you have an action you can take instead of loot 5000 book cases to get what you want.

Yo, we need to change the T3 knuckles to this lol

Whaaaat? Nexusmods is LIFE! Skyrim or Fallout + Mods = 2k hours in the toilet minimum.
I hadnt played skyrim until this year. (started with SE) I gotta admit for never modding anything in my life, nexus/vortex got me into it. (if you can call that modding, it was still a challenge for me tho at first) 80 mods later and many skyrim playthroughs after, it was a blast. Even if I probably spent as much time learning and modding than I did playing (if not more)

Any perk that does not add dmg is pretty much worthless beyond tier 1 right now. :p
Na, mother lode is amazing. Lucky looter is good. Health regen and damage resistance are nice. Loads of great perks tbh, just some of the crafting ones aren't so great yet.

MM,

Will the M60 eventually have some sort of sight/scope mods available or will iron sights be the only option for that weapon for balance purposes? Asking on behalf of my Fortitude build buddies.

No offence ( handing you a sunflower ) , but if I miss another experimental release date warning, I am gonna play dead till stable.
That's right, you almost missed the last one

Complication is a slippery slope. The important thing to consider is how rewarding the activity is. So building a vehicle is more complicated than a stone axe, because it is much more rewarding. Complicating things to the point where its tedious and its just clicking stuff over and over again isn't good. So I always say KISS, but its ok to have some depth to later game activities that are more rewarding.
Way I see it is, anyone who joined and played from alpha 1 to say, 15, and has stuck around likes complicated over simplistic, but I get your goal, I really do... It's just not for me. I would have bounced long ago if it wasn't for modding capability.

...we're able to create a whole new game; new assets, menus, sounds, gameplay, dangers, etc, and that's something! Medieval Mod couldn't have happened, I would have never learned Unity, so modding is definitely why I'm here... and once y'all give official mod support? Sky is the limit.

Hell this is an a16 mod screenshot of a poi using new assets...

So you're stuck with me. =)

If only it was a throw-able Tomahawk... Hmmm. (Legendary weapon)
Hopefully someone can convert/mod that into a throw able since it sounds like just the same functionality as the spear...😅

How is getting better at running when your character runs a lot complicated?
Its not, but shoving cacti up your ass isn't very intuitive to get gud at heavy armor. Why did you have to go and make this about LBD, when it died peacefully and is RIP?

Na, mother lode is amazing. Lucky looter is good. Health regen and damage resistance are nice. Loads of great perks tbh, just some of the crafting ones aren't so great yet.
Yeah, i was exaggerating just a bit. But a lot that basically just give recipes still need something extra. I can skip almost all of those right now. I'm talking about Grease Monkey, Yeah Science.... Physician is really bad. Quests and Looting give me more medical supplies than I'll ever need.
