When you die the horde despawns now unless in a team. If you want to restart the horde, log out and log in.Just had my second Blood Moon at a random POI (could not make it back to base), I died and made it back to the same POI.
All the blood moon zombies are gone and no more are spawning yet its only past 12.
Has it always been like this as I only ask as I have not ever died at a random POI in a blood moon night before.
I'm playing agility and blades right now and it works fine. Bleeding damage has a mere 10% of the chance to cause rage of a normal hit.Don't think I like how DoT effects cause zombies to rage, makes playing blades/agility seem almost detrimental in close quarters.
Yeah its really immersion breaking to see layers of biomes. It should be that biome for about as far as the eye can see and after walking a while you finally see another. Its fine they aren't that big, a 5 minute sprint and you are probably out of there as long as you pick a direction and stick to it, like put a map marker north and go, you will see another biome soon enough. I climb mountains to scout too.BTW, people talking about the biomes being too big... I think they're fine. Not even Day 7 came in and I had seen all the biomes in my first A18 playthrough. And I relatively explored very, very little because things to do in A18 overwhelmed me, I mostly managed to see all the biomes just by respawning from deaths before putting a bedroll and getting some airdrops.
And that argument with that people have to see most of the content in their playthrough: I disagree with that. Many games have content which you might not even see in your first 5 playthroughs. A game should have enough content to have you see lots of it each playthrough and also have variety by experiencing other content each other playthrough, which is a win-win.
Yeah and once you put armor on probably all of them are faster. Thanks for the info. I think I will leave it as is for now. As the speed increases, there is more potential for path overruns, circling and such.
Too bad he is playing A17.4.Heads up Mr Mad Mole, but i just noticed a pretty big streamer playing 7 days. Forsen. LOL. Big with the teens. 10k plus viewers. I believe it is his first time streaming it.

What? Why? So now if I make a mistake I can’t try to make back some xp I lost? Not sure about this one. When you die the horde despawns now unless in a team. If you want to restart the horde, log out and log in.
omg , some of the forum suggestions today are just the worst... ^^Design fail. If inventory is full, just chuck all their mods out on the ground, to roll down a mountain and get lost? Plus wow, really? How inconvenient having to reinstall mods. Here's the solution: We don't do a damn thing aside from nerf trader loot and get purples dropping as intended and it will be awesome.
The BM will also resume for you, if a zombie sees you, except for a 30 second grace period after you respawn. What? Why? So now if I make a mistake I can’t try to make back some xp I lost? Not sure about this one.

My day 14 BM ended at around 12:50ish (8 alive, no deaths yet, I forget what my GS is)Just had my second Blood Moon at a random POI (could not make it back to base), I died and made it back to the same POI.

Longer day length does give you more time to build a base. But it also raises your gamestage higher for the same D7/14 horde so you need a stronger base. You kill/build etc 2x as long so 2x the xp on 120 vs 60 min days. I've always played 120 min days myself. I started the game on def (adventurer). D10 I raised it to nomad. Adventurer is just flat out too easy for me. I also play always walk. I'm a Walking Dead fan and in my eyes zombies should never ever run. Those settings just feel right to me. So with walking z's I don't even use a horde base, just fight on the street with some spikes and barbed wire fencing for horde night works fine. How many hour days yall prefer playing on A18 ? I did notice the increase in difficulty from A17. I’m on 60 min, nomad difficulty currently and I love it, I feel like 120 is too easy lol you’ll have a fully functional base made of steel with shotgun turrets and blade traps by day 14 lol 90 min is perfect for the casual player. I’m a day 1 player of 7dtd so I’m a veteran who wants a challenge. What’s y’all thoughts ?
Ohhhh...Sorry, MM made it sound like it’s just over altogether. Never mind then. Carry on!The BM will also resume for you, if a zombie sees you, except for a 30 second grace period after you respawn.
It helps some players not get stuck in death loops, while others might prefer the challenge. For those, log out and back in like MM said.
Rocket launcher turrets seem like a good idea until a zombie breaks in and is right on top of you and the turrets turn to you.Hopefully get ak turrets and rocket launcher turrets.
Oh wow, that needs fixin'.found an easy way to get experience and it's a decent amount but then lowers to almost nothing after a few uses. this can only be done if you find that book for art of mining that let's you craft bundles.
the bundles for the resources that comes from books can be crafted into a bundle then opened and recruited again a for large amount of experience that diminishes after each use.
here is an example. I crafted 6000 of the lead into the lead bundle and it gave me about 20k experience, opened up the bundle and then crafted it back into a bundle for about 14k experience which after repeating again gave me like 9k then 6k then 5k.
this was doable with all the resources which could be used to be make bundles like wood, shale, raw iron, lead, coal, rocks and potassium. just remember to do this we have to find one of the art of mining books which unlocks this.
Hoe is useless atm. Plants still need light to grow.hey madmole ,
now we have the farmplot for our plants. could it be, that the hoe is now useless???or does the hoe now has other funktion, we dont need it for farmland bzw. farmland is deleted. and could it be that now the plants dont need daylight for growing like in old alphas?
greetings
Remove colours... problem solvedYou weren't curious in the slightest to see if your purple item was actually a piece of crap? I thought I had a good ak47 that did 60 damage, later I found out there are much better ones. Didn't you want all purple items? Finding one purple isn't the end IMO, you want the best mods for it, and a better purple, and of course purple armor, tools, etc.
That sounds really cool actually lol I was thinking for my next playthough of playing either 90 min or 120 min with always running adventure difficulty.I'm playing 90 minute days on adventurer and thinking of going 120, but my settings are not exactly normal.
24 hour cycle - 90 mins
BM freq - 1 day
Zombie night/feral/BM speed - Run
AI block damage - 50%
Loot abundance - 50%
Loot respawn - 15 days
BM count - 4 enemies
Mark air drop - on
Been fun so far, after a bad start in the desert. Took forever to find water, but moved to a small walled in base in the forest on day 2. Still looking for a forest town to relocate to.
Interesting having to get back to base before the sun goes, because they are coming for you.
I'd like to add options for BM freq 2 and BM count 6.
