VERY bad move here. MANY streamers love tier 5's and do them as groups. Its almost the ONLY thing you have that is considered end game content. People literally GEAR UP to do these, and look forward to them. I know things grow boring for you around Day 80-ish but you DO have a large audience even outside of this forum that continues well past that day. They are kind of a novelty IMO I don't do them because they take too long and cause player fatigue. I'd rather we don't add any more.
Um... where does it say that? I read the updates pages.I guess real men don't read the instructions to start a new game either![]()
I still have my fresh game and im still kicking the zombies ass and chewing bubble-gum on day 32I guess real men don't read the instructions to start a new game either![]()
spoken like a prophetReal 'men' (and women) start new a new game knowing current builds lowered gamesstages/looting.And knowing that old saves can cause problems, and to minimize complaining, forum space, etc.
KNOWING that is is experimental. Managing 'invested' expectations...
Hallelujah!Traders will get a quality nerf soon.
I agree however keep in mind the devs have to keep to the minimum specifications they set for the game originally. And there lies one of the challenges with software development.we have people here complaining they get 20-30 fps in general yet they're hard ware is a 770 or they only have 8gbs or ram or a i5 4000 series.Yes pc parts are spendy, but on average parts go out of fate 2-3 months after release. Now days 16gb ram and 4gb vram is a MUST standard to have god fps IMO. i know ive barked about how do ppl play at super low settings and say 30 fps is good. this has nothing to do wi th it.
Games are requiring higher standards cause, lets face it, the old standards or 2g vram and 4gb system
ram are no longer a thing.
I don't really know if a 5% boost is enough for the average fast ones to catch you. I just guessed and moved on, so might need another 5% or 10%. You will find out.You guys are awesome. Thanks so much.
* throws a particular nice piece of dolomiticized limestone*Hey! that would be so cruel...You start and I'll go next.
Does a man really need a reason to throw rocks?Didn`t Snowdog took care of him or you two are are ..horngry again ?![]()
Ohhh snap.Lol, I think snowdog is having low fps. We can't count on him right now, faatal will fix him soon enough.
Maybe you could add a 300% speed boost to crawlers?I don't really know if a 5% boost is enough for the average fast ones to catch you. I just guessed and moved on, so might need another 5% or 10%. You will find out.![]()
I was testing a new build today on my HD 5770 1 GB VRAM relic from 10 years ago and it looks fine at Half texture quality. It can manage 22+ FPS outside if I turn off distant terrain (gfx dt 0).Cool I knew i wasn't going crazy. so glad it got fixed all those affected will be happy.. thank you!!! :cocksure: I started doubting myself for a while after reading how you explained the change, I even deleted the report I made doubting so much lol.

I made this comment early on in that thread "Cool. glad I could help, lets see how long until someone reports it and the TFP figures out its streaming." Took less than 24 hoursdamn good job Faatal. *fist bump*
The Unity mode we use for fullscreen is borderless window. Trying our setting vs F4 vs Alt+Return, gives me the same FPS, so I don't think there is a difference.Turn Fullscreen OFF in the options, then when you have a window press F4 to make it borderless.
Odd, I would think the motorcycle wall trick would still work, since the changes were to the back tire, which was not touching the wall if I recall your picture correctly.@Faatal
So I tried my bug out again today (driving motorcycle vertically up a skyscraper) and it no longer works.
and I tried reproducing the flying vehicles bug using the method I found the other day.....no longer works at all.
Good job with whatever you did to vehicle coding, hopefully no more pesky bugs in that area of the game. *knocks on wood* =) if it does show up again I'll be ready to hunt it down
Looks like Robert fixed that yesterday, so will be in the next release.I was testing a blade trap and came across a bug where I get an error message if I walk into it. Looks like the error happens every time a blade hits me. I take no damage, and no sound other than the blade spinning.

It was my go to as a kid. I have a battery tester now.Funny you mention this. I know a guy who swears by the 9v battery tongue test...lol
I agree with this. T5 are not neccssarily for single players, but 4 co-op players (and I assume with 8 players it is even worse) need breathing room. And there needs to be some more variety in that class.VERY bad move here.
I get its not your bag of tricks. Turrets arent mine. But Streamers, Modders, Multiplayer everyone loves these. I dont see the benefit at all to just abandon them.
I thought we were getting T6 quests eventually? Is that no longer on the table?
