@MechanicalLenswhen you have the flyin' bug. Is it in rwg, navezgane, or one of the pregen maps?
RWG. Like I said, it's been happening to a lot of people, apparently. I don't think there could ever be a sound way to reproduce it, sadly. It happens randomly, probably along the same flat stretch of road you've traveled on dozens of times. One second you're driving alone smoothly, then you're shot up into the stratosphere for no good reason. :/

I don't think military is OP at all. Its not useless but I feel like its tougher to craft for no legit reason. Maybe if military fiber was used for some more things it wouldn't bother me at all, perhaps some ballistic clothing or mods would round it out nice.
The answer is pretty straightforward I think. Military Fiber is gated because it always WAS gated. So make "Military Fiber" what military armor parts actually is, instead of being a craftable item. This would allow you to keep the Wasteland Treasures book where you scrap barracks chairs and army trucks to military fiber.

Alternately, move military fiber to Tier 3 Light Armor form Yeah, Science. The recipe isn't bad - especially since one craft gives 10 fiber - it's just if you're not planning to go into Int at all, you need that schematic.

same thing I thought in A17. There is always a way to reproduce a bug. Yes I've read other reports of this bug happening which is why I'll try and reproduce. This might take countless hours to find like it did last time, which is why I would not go hunting for a bug only one person reported. Thanks for all the info, this will help me out. :)

Be sure to put a podcast or something on when you're driving around for days on end. :)

I don't know why people waste perks on Lucky Looter, all it does is shorten your quest to find good loot by a week or two of game days in the grand scheme of things.
I use it as part of the foundation for my Lone Wolf (Intellect/Perception) mercenary build. When you're always on the run, burning the clock getting from point A to point B, your scavving needs to be on point. If I want to stay ahead of the pack I don't have time to waste beating things with rocks like a caveman or building a cozy little love nest where I can play the starving artist. For the smart survivor it's all about economics and labor efficiency. Those fractions of a second and few extra scraps add up fast when you deal in volume. If you build good relationships with the traders, and spend your dukes wisely, a wee kickstart can be leveraged into a huge asset when the ♥♥♥♥ really hits the fan. You start off with a small business stripping cars for spare parts and gasoline and the next thing you know you're trafficking in high-value military hardware. And then who's rocking and rolling all night when the blood moon rises? (Me, that's who.) I'm not going to tiptoe through the tulips, if I want to take a POI I'm going in fast and hard and terminating any resistance with extreme prejudice. The early bird catches the worm, so I'll pop Lucky Looter, Grease Monkey and Salvage Operations straight out the tutorial and be geared up and back on the road in three days. Have guns, will travel.

:yo:

This has only happened to me twice so far, feels so random and out of nowhere.
Second time I was on the motorcycle, so it's not just the bicycle and minibike.

Now let's see if it ever happens in the jeep. Anyone?
It happens to me when I am in my Jeep. It happened to my friends and because fall damage is a thing while in vehicles they died when they fell back to the earth. Very annoying bug. We’re on Pregen01

Found another bug. :p I jumped off my 5 block high ladder and mounted my minibike in mid-air. Now, I'm in this camera view, and my legs are moving back and forth like I'm pedaling on a bicycle.

Gazz/MM,
Looks like the description for the marksmen rifle schematic is incorrect? :p

NyT9npD.png
This is actually correct, just non-specific. It's just giving an explanation on how schematics work using shotguns as an example. It took me a few re-reads to understand it wasn't incorrect, though; it could maybe use a rewording?

Bicycling along roads in the desert during the day I frequently get a kamikaze vulture out of seemingly nowhere. Always attacks right away. My health doesn't matter, has happened at 100% more often than while slightly wounded. Is this working as intended?
Vultures hate vehicle and will attack 100% of the time.

Fun fact: Gps IS still a thing if you die on horde night.. they home in on you just like normal even if you don't engage. (I posted a formal bug report about it.) I suspect it because I was in a group and my wife was still defending.
You have a 30 second grace period on spawn. After that, if a zombie sees you, they will kill you.

im sure its known but I keep going from decent FPS then many times when I leave a building it drops to 5FPS-10FPS till I quit game and start back up then FPS are back to 55-60FPS outside.

We removed engine quality = torque so it was using the low end worst engine torque. That is fixed in the next update, so going uphills should be much improved.
Friction was also changed on ground vehicles.

Also, when you look at improving the hill climbing of the motorcycle, also look at the headlights...they are really dim.
They are in its vehicle xml entry, and bumping the brightness up to 2.5 or 3 looks a lot more realistic without being overblown. ( That makes them about as bright as the lantern, I think.)
Motorcycle hill climbing has been improved.

Checked the vehicles with lights and they look fine, just like I last adjusted them.

If you figure out a repro.... let us know please. Are you hitting a specific object?
When it happened to me I just had hit some burnt wood.

Could be an angle or elevation approach to objects at a certain speed maybe.

@MechanicalLens

GOT IT! lol flying bug was not to hard to reproduce. only took what an hour or two....kinda lost track of time. Will do it another 3 times in a row and then ill submit my bug report and maybe they can get the flying vehicle bug fixed

I told you there is always a way to reproduce a bug... :)

So this just happened. I was cruising along a perfectly flat road when I was randomly launched so high up the world failed to render below me. Somehow, I survived.
I made adjustments to the vehicle out of world check to recover much more slowly when it happens. The actual cause of the bug is unknown, since we have no repro steps to make it happen.

ZombieSurvivor may have found the root cause of it. Read above. (:
