I was wrong, sounds still affect the heat map.huh I did not know this changed, nothing in patch notes talking about it. Well this is good to know.

Look at blocks and sound.xml for all the details.I've already posted how players can check out exactly how heat works. Why do so many keep commenting on heat, take 10 minutes and go learn exactly how heat works then come and make comments. I'm jumping on 7d2d now to test out heat and then i'll open a thread explaining in detail with pictures showing how it all works. This heat discussion is honestly annoying af but it is motivating me to write up this guide so I guess I cannot hate lol.![]()
Roger that, thanks for the tip.Look at blocks and sound.xml for all the details.
Could always buff it, to see if that entices players to use it early game. Increased stun chance (maybe also slows down dogs/wolves/coyotes), maybe a moderate chance to knock down multiple foes that are clustered together, maybe even buff the damage? After all, it's the reload sequence (and possibly missing) that is going to kill you.Yes its governed by boomstick, but its one of those things you don't bother with now if you go looting. I've been thinking about what to do with it.
Pretty sure they took the blunderbuss out with A18There is. It's called the blunderbuss..![]()
So long, and thanks for all the fish...I'm tempted to say what I think here, but its useless and I'm fed up with promises and shortcomings on deliverys.. So I'll just say goodbye and thanks for my time with the game. All good things must come to an end. It has surely been a pleasure.
I was thinking it could shoot rocket propelled bouncing impact grenades so they only explode if hitting an entity aka quake 1.Could always buff it, to see if that entices players to use it early game. That is the goal, we're implementing seasonal stuff that will just flip on during the season.Just in time for Halloween
I decide what I'm going to be before I enter the world and no matter what I find it doesn't matter, I'm going to be X.I find myself mostly going for quality of life perks and ignoring weapon crap. I mean, I am more likely to find something than craft it, and who knows what weapon type it is going to be before I start spending points.
My lucky looter builds, ironically, are the ones that have not been finding any guns lol. Then when I do a low level fetch quest on them, in the first few days, a black feral wolf spawns on me inside the house, or a mountain lion spawns outside, running straight for me lel.
Sure, I have been finding lots of rare books and crap on the lucky looter build, but hardly any weapons lol. I will do more testing.
Okay, now that would be awesome.I was thinking it could shoot rocket propelled bouncing impact grenades so they only explode if hitting an entity aka quake 1.
I'm keen to have stone throwing as an audible distraction come back. It was such a useful stealth mechanic, also great fun to whittle away those long nights. Not sure if its been addressed or not but I was wondering if smell was coming back at some point? I loved the risk/reward with that.
I do as well, but every time I pick something I find everything else lol.I decide what I'm going to be before I enter the world and no matter what I find it doesn't matter, I'm going to be X.
