yep had one where i was on top of tall mtn peak and slid down to find it just like yours. no digging required.. :)

 
@madmole I heard you say somewhere, "Good luck finding 15 machine gun parts." Well, apparently, good luck is on my side. Hehheh.

I love the mountains tall and small the landscape overall in rwg just feels awesome there may be the little odd road bump or 2 but rwg terrain= absolutely beautiful

I've never played an experimental build of an alpha for so long in my life. Thus far the only issues I've encountered are Vulkan freezes on Linux (and the game quits, crashes, or the graphics drivers reset on Windows) and input issues with v-sync turned on. Alpha 18 is fun, no doubt about it.

I am currently playing the game with proton on Linux using DirectX 11. That has given me decent performance and the most stability thus far.

I don't know if he's cheating or not: I've had the occasional crate cough up dozens of gun parts. Doesn't happen often, but when it does...

I honestly got most of mine from the traders. RNG has been really kind to me so far. I'm scared. Lol

Edit: Traders. Got 3 of them nearby.

Wait a minute. I had two similar cases few hours ago..is it a bug ?

Thats a pretty neat idea. What about experimenting with overswing on normal attacks(and some power attacks)? Like for example, extending the animation past the crosshair (short of a full power attack), but if you register a hit it finishes preemptively? It would help to get feedback on if your hitting your target and give the sense of hitting a baseball off a tee that has weight. The hitting and passing animation(when it ends) could be identically the same other than the length and could create randomness on each attack.

I've been doing some experimentation on power glancing swings. They work pretty well with the sledge and bat now on multiple targets(although a little buggy), but unsure on how my previous suggestion would work with this. Power attacks could have many purposes other than throwing spears and multi hitting :)

I would probably use naked or low tech perks if they were available.

A perk where your bare fists to more damage and harvest better. I perk where your sprinting is improved, or that improves the use of the bicycle. A perk to improve natural armor, but you can only equip basic clothing. (probably too annoying to code and could cause a lot of bugs, so probably not)

I think only brawling works on the bare fists, but not 100% about fortitude.

Is this really just a post asking for improved basic unarmed fists from fortitude and brawling?... probably.

 
Do you have to find a book to build a forge or can you put a point into it? If so what do i need to put a point into to get it?

Both, you can check it out around the skill tree, in intelligence section and see what is needed and where to put your point in to :)

 
Am I missing it somewhere or did the plain barb wire get removed? I can find barb wire fence but not the flat barb wire sheet?

It's one or the other. Find the book or buy the perk. In my current game I found the book so I didnt have to buy the perk under the INT tree. Keep in mind the perk does have more benefits then the book I think. Its mentioned in the description of the perk.
