Madmole, what shaped your design philosophy for pure intellect builds? Intellect excels at junk turrets, which is a great weapon when you deploy it for clearing poi's, but I'm worried won't be viable on horde nights. The junk turret is akward to use when you're holding it, because you can't aim down the iron sights. That makes lining up headshots difficult. Is there anyway to add a ironsights functionality to it?

i think i found a bug in Gavestone (the city in Navezgane)

when there mesh holes that make you launch back and you can see through the ground.(that or its my game)

also when mining it happens every know and then.

AWESOME NEWS, faatal has found some good gains already, and I was combing through lots of new models and discovered texture streaming wasn't enabled on tons of them so the vram issue will either be dead or drastically improved in the next patch :)
More great news, thanks!

While the trader is busy counting his dukes while staring into open space, I'm going through some more potential purchases. I just love that you can do this. :D

@MM - There should be a percentage that we will be shot =)

Game day 26, still have not found a desert biome..
Wow on the flipside of that, while I'm trying to get 18 to work well enough, I've restarted quite a few times and EVERY single time I spawned in the desert. Giving you some of my luck 🍀

Play for me.

Here are a few showstoppers IMO that should be fixed before experimental ends:

3) Food is far too scarce early game. I have been living meal to meal. I don't know if it is RWG or what, but I haven't found a cooking pot and have barely been able to buy food from the vending machine and the trader. Eggs are damn near impossible to find (not that I could use them) and I just found a grill 4 hours in. The forge in my trader was destroyed, so I can't craft a cooking pot. I managed to find a grill, so I can make grilled meet, but meet was slightly nerfed and animals are a bit harder to kill because they run a lot more. If I hadn't been playing this game like a pro since the beginning, I would have died multiple times from food and water.
I had same problem with cooking pot but thought outside old style play, spent 1 perk point on forge and built it made pot and grill I already had a beaker, so was finally able to make food and water.

Naturally I then loot next house and found both a grill 2 cook pots and about 10 cans of food.

Texture streaming fix seems very promising so far. I was getting 45-60 fps at 1920 before, after the fix I was getting a solid 60fps so I bumped it to 2560 and am getting 52-60fps :D

So, all of my graphics settings were set to "allow application" to decide the AA and all settings, I suppose 7 days was overriding that. I turned to Performance Mode and wow, I now have 20-30 FPS even while riding the motorcycle! Granted, pure potato settings, but hey I could care less about graphics lol. Man the game feels so good now... I am on day 3 and saw a dire wolf on a hillside. After whiffing like 15 arrow shots I finally landed one and it charged me - threw a spear at it and the stun baton I found saved my ass haha - then a buzzard joined the party soon as I killed it and got me infected lmao. Got some antibiotics from a trader quest so that wasn't too bad. But man, the fear factor definitely is back in the game. I can tell once the ground texture optimizations or whatever you're all working on gets done game will be butter smooth. I hit 60-70 FPS while indoors! :D Really enjoying myself with it.
I think the farming tooltip needs to be changed, I was rather confused when it told me to get fertilizer and a hoe to upgrade dirt when in fact the hoe was removed and you craft a farm plot. Only confuzzled me for a good 10 mins, but it may really bugger out a new player. Love the sass in the skill tree and the new note you spawn with - had me a chuckle!
Sounds like you are playing A17. Here is the farming tool tip: Use your fists or any tool to harvest crops. After you have bought the required level in the 'Living Off The Land' perk or found a schematic you can craft seeds from harvested crops. Craft Farm Plots and plant seeds on Farm Plots using the secondary action and increase your harvesting yield through buying more levels of the perk.

Hover the mouse over the lock icon in the perk menu to see the requirements.
I posted yesterday about something similar in the Strength tree, and got no reply. I bought the second skill in pummel Pete with 2 points in strength and couldn't craft a better club and there was a red check mark over it. Something about status effect...after putting another point in strength, it allowed me to craft a better club. Something is wonky there. Will try a new game this weekend and if necessary post a bug report.

@madmole I really like A18 so far, but I personally think that level 6 items shouldn't be in the trader's load out. I have yet to find anything level 6 in loot (I adore that, it'll make when I do find one much more special), but it kind of takes away from the specialness of looting when I can just run over to Trader Rekt and buy a level 6 knife. I think level 6 should be loot only, I want that purple color to invoke pure excitement when I find it in a backpack.
Finding a purple at a trader doesn't mean much because random stats are crazy. Most likely will find a better one in loot, one purple is just the beginning of a long journey to the best gear so I think its ok, plus we need a money sink later game. You might buy one for 8 grand or whatever, then a half hour later find a better one in loot.

Is it likely the new experimental is due today or tomorrow? I really want to play but I'm scared of having my progress wiped right after starting...
I don't see any obvious issues yet, so I'm still going on my pregen01.

Two junk turrets plus access to all the traps, tossing grenades and using whatever firearms you want should be just fine IMO. Your bullets you find pile up since you use scrap ammo, I think you will fair just fine.

Can we expect this update tonight or will it be more likely tomorrow?

Love that lol! Keeps you looting forever which is a great thing. I played a whole game of 100 hours and thought I had the best loot goggles possible, then the next game I out rolled my 100 hour guy :)
Wait does that sound right? I thought at best a tier one could only be better then a tier 2 (minus mods). I guess it would good to know what he meant by better as there are several random stats on the item.

A query that happened to the large storage boxes that you could paint? I can't find her anywhere, any help?
I've answered this a bunch already: Its under furniture. Come on forum help me out :)

Maybe you had a debuff? Infected? If its red, something has lowered the attribute which can remove some perks you have that require it.

So the update is unlikely to break compatibility? That's good to hear; you said earlier that a self-generated world is even less likely to have issues going forward than the pregens, right?
