How does the stamina bar and health bar work? I keep seeing mine turn black, reducing my overall stamina and health. The issue is, I keep eating and drinking. Food and water never get below 75, usually in the 80s to 90s. It seems odd that with food and water that high, it would start to go black. Also, once it goes black it seems like it is hard to get it back into "color".

 
I have no airdrops....

Thought I might have missed them, but there are no airdrop markers on the map.

Set Airdop frequency to once a day for testing. Then I entered debugmenu and rolled back time to 11:40am.

Still no plane on the horizon!?

i don't know about that but i don't understand the new fortuted system? cuz i leveled it twice and i have 117 Hp and Stamina. is that new?

MadMole, when do u expect us to see the new swing animation you mentioned. Will it be A18 stable or .X release or are we taking A19.

Also, what do you think of this sort of build we are seeing about a possible Israel Adesanya vs Jon Jones?

 
You should have heard a barf sound. You got food poisoning. Take your vitamins or eat canned foods.
After already barfing twice, I've since learned that vitamins are the way to go early game. Good job finding a good use for them! I never really used them before.

 
The Brawler Perk (which is super fun) says punches to the head negate infection ability. What does this mean exactly? I punch their head and if they hit me back they can't infect me?

 
I didn't said that anything was allowed or not, I always used the word SHOULD ("you should give useful information, feedback and bug reports to TFP") I never said "nobody is giving useful info!". Anyone can post anything, just wanted to clarify what exp branch is for some people to calm them down (not everyone knows, not one of my IRL friends knew what it was, so I though maybe by posting that I could help others).
Yeah I'm down to letting this go, it was just a misunderstanding caused by language barriers (From my part), and when people write stuff, not all can sense the tone of their intentions lol. It's all good man.

I previously reported not getting any food for buried treasure quests. Lol, figured out my problem. I was set to 25% loot. Not sure how that happened, but, wow, whole new thing looting at default settings!

 
Hello Madmole,

Could we perhaps get a sound range update? M60 goes quiet after 90 meters and does not even have echo sound.

In xml we can squeeze 1000 meters with your AudioSource_Distant parameter, but could be nice to have more varied gunshot echos to use. Good for PvP and coop.
Feels bit awkward to see other guy shooting but not hearing a thing.

@madmole....I got the book that lets you walk on mines. It da bomb...well, in this case not da bomb😆 my favorite book so far. Looting is da bomb.
I could have used that one last night, one POI has land mine right on the main path, its getting fixed as we speak.

 
Not sure if this is a bug, or intended. Is the cowboy hat mod a cosmetic, for altering the appearance, or is it supposed to be a mod because it adds insulation ?

Its a rare mod. Most insulation gives you +2 or something.

 
Yeah when everyone was going on and on about needing food spoilage I was like hmm no the real problem is you can get too much food, but we can't make it too scarce because of multiplayer. That simmered in the back of my mind and when we got around to rewriting food poisoning to be more than a 15 second annoyance like in A17 the aha moment came to mind and an evil grin formed on my face :) It plays quite nice, every time I take a bite to eat now I feel like a zombie might hit me from behind now, that tense feeling of wondering what might happen is a nice touch.
As with everything there is a way out of it, vitamins are useful now. I might even save up sham sandwiches and take a vitamin and eat them all at once just to fill up safely :)

I haven't heard one peep about the farm boxes, as I said I had an ace up my sleeve, which is the best survival game on the planet.
Since you mentioned it.... Day 6. I have 2 planter boxes. Found potato and corn seed. Works well. Once you harvest you can switch out seeds if needed. Any thoughts on making the farm plots...pickupable? They’re expensive to make, so being able to move them would be excellent!

use a shovel. that is how to harvest it .


 


dont forget to remove seed or plant first.

also was anyone sad that the fire helmet just is a red mining helmet. or is it just me.
but that doesn't mean i hate the update.
We might add a custom model later, there were a few books where the perk was too hard to code in the time we had or we were short on ideas so a few meh things transpired, but not many.
