They say Radeon, but not AMD. Is this issue only for older AMD cards, the 300 series and earlier, so Polaris, Vega, and Navi aren't affected? Does VRAM affect this? And what about 16k maps?

I am holding out for zombie crocs, make the water dangerous to swim around in. Although it is Arizona and not much in the water up there is dangerous. Might as well have piranha. But crocs could hang in the water and chase you on shore. Also it would be hilarious to be wandering around a lake, see a zed, croc comes out of the water and latches on to its leg and drags it back into the water while the zed complains loudly and flails its arms helplessly.

the day we can just spawn zombie crocs in a mote where they cant leave so its a "forced tame" i will make a hermit castle

ehh they could just say there invasive to Arizona. like some guy tried to keep them as a pet and they got out, maybe around the area trader joel is with the docks there could be a marsh

with cattails , trees , mushrooms , yucca , mud , zombie gators , oil shale etc

and it could be a hotter climate

normal animals live there but that's the main area gators could be and there would be some new zombies

the drowned fisherman:, wears overalls and has rubber boots and a shirt and he kinda fat but he can puke mud out that blinds you and he runs faster in the water. and has as much HP as a lumberjack

feral mudman : imagine a feral zombie that walks like a spider zombie and is covered in mud. he runs really fast in the water and can leap out of the water and has a chance to fling mud to blind you.

rooted walker: this zombie looks very rotten with his bones exposed but has plants , fungi and more growing out of him

some plants like poison ivy grow on him and if he attacks you , your HP is reduce.

also maybe not Crocs they could be gators

and some water area contaminated and if you drink it you get infected and has a slight tint of red.

and the water has boilers , old boats with loot , boxes etc

and fishing kinda like minecraft. and you can get some fish like bass , catfish , sturgeon , paddlefish and more

that you can put up as a trophy , sell them or get meat from them.

Okay. You’re being needlessly reactionary. Faatal said they are working on it and he will continue to refine it. I know for a fact he wants nightmare mode to be the setting where zeds are faster than players but not all the animations and movement types look good when sped up that fast.
They just solved the problem that prevented them from increasing the speed and now they will be working on making it work with animations so it doesn’t look stupid.

It is happening but it isn’t finished.

It's not about being reactionary. In general root motion animations have to be synced with speed so that models don't slide and all and apparently in A17 they had an issue with it, so as they said they would tune the animations in their next version, since they didn't plan any subsequent release after A17.4. So faatal said the following:

Today I fixed our movement speed cap on zombies. Now 5 of the zombie walk types are a bit faster in nightmare speed and when they rage boost, look out. I'll enjoy watching that video. :playball:
Nightmare speed will be slightly faster than it was before. I'm not changing that until we have a valid reason after feedback with the rage mechanic. Nightmare rage is about as fast as the player, but it depends on the walk type, since animation root motion is what drives AI movement on the ground.
What I understand from faatal's posts is that he synced the animations to a specific model speed according to what he deemed appropriate and will wait for feedback. So it's about what model speed you want to tune them at. And afaik it's a pain to remake them so I don't blame him. So what I am doing is giving that feedback and saying that the appropriate speed should be faster than the player w/o rage on nightmare mode. Care to give yours specifically on this point (the appropriate nightmare speed) and stop perceiving everything as a reaction/attack as you tend to do lately? -.-

All in all, I don't expect everything to be perfect at A18.0 or anything, but if I or anyone else says absolutely nothing about the speed, faatal will never change it, and simply being able to walk away from danger will continue to be a thing for another alpha, and that absolutely sucks for those who wish to have any sense of urgency in the game.

I was saying gators because we have them all the way into Texas and thought it would make more sense, maaaaybe. But not likely to migrate a thousand miles across New Mexico to go hang out near the grand canyon. So yea might as well be Crocs.

Although alligators turning up in Arizona is not unheard of....

Would love to have a mini swamp biom around near lakes/rivers where a trader joe could spawn and give missions to go clear out zombie gator/crocs or bring back hides or whatever. Also Alligator is damn good eatin. Had fried alligator tenders at Pappadeaux's for our anniversary a week ago that were just amazing and tender. So good source of meat when you can't find a bear or wolf.

the TFP could say that the gators are invasive to arizona like a pet store that's flooded and full of them

like bobs boars and charles corn thing with the boars but has gators

and crocs are much stronger

and there could be a type called the the man eating gator that 3 times bigger

also there should be "dire" types for all animals

like a dire bear that 3 times bigger and has arms that puts the tank from l4d to sham

a Dire lion that's 2 times bigger and has sabertooth like teeth

dire coyote same size of a wolf and stronger.

note gator is good iv eaten a lot of it since i live in florida

Either that, or record the interesting parts in every in-game day or couple of days, and edit the boring stuff out. I can help you with that if you ever need help! :)

as well maybe in later alphas it would be cool to see animals like

wild cow's , wolverines , bison , pronghorns , moose and black bears

so its not just zombies you need to worry about!

Is there a tier 3 auto sniper rifle planned for future alphas? Something like the G3SG1
that would be cool! or a weapon like the M14

and a tier 4 50.Cal great damage, rare ammo and low ammo

all crap here we go!

Tier 3 shotgun: AA-12 full auto shotgun that has 8 shots and tears up zombies but cant uses Slugs

Tier 2 Rifles: lever action rifle uses 44 rounds and has a great fire rate and is reliable but uses a expensive round

tier 2 Pistol: Uzi Fast as Hell , large mag but low damage and crappy range

tier 2 Auto rifle: M16 burst fire, 30 rounds good range and accuracy but slightly more damage then the Ak

but the AK has more durability.
