Being in a thread with more than 27,000 posts is like how it was being 27,000 blocks away from 0,0 back in Alpha 10: Shakey, jarring, and everything seems out of context....

I'm not questioning your parenting style here (you do you), I'm just giving out my subjective opinion. My opinion is that minors shouldn't have access to any kind of technology, period. Video games are alright beyond a certain age (post 7-8, I would say; and no giving kids games that are rated T for Teen for 17/18+! *Smh at too many examples of this happening*), but when it comes to the Internet or owning the phone, I personally believe that youth should have to buy their own tech with their own money post 16 years of age and once they have a job. (Note: The phone should still 100% belong to the parents.) Internet access should be allowed at roughly that same time. Again, just my opinion.

Tech used properly in the hands of minors is a great thing. My daughter was on the PC at kindergarten with learning based games. (I forget the series name, maybe Jumpstart?) But, her cell phone goes to school with her in a backpack turned off. She has it for an emergency, not for games or internet surfing during school time. He PC time at home was limited to an hour a day after homework was done. Something must have worked ok as she graduated HS with a 4.3 GPA, got a full scholarship for her bachelors in both Criminology and psychology and is now starting on her Masters in Cyber crime. Paying for her Masters degree on her own too I might add. We're so proud of her hard work and dedication to here education.

Darn proud to say she doesn't live on her phone. Uses FB to keep in touch with distant family rather than posting endless memes and would never even think about using her phone while driving. Such a great Kiddo! (she hates I still call her that btw. :p )

Yeah!! I guess I do squat as well. Twice a day. On the loo.

Weightlifting as well.. Sitting down and getting up from my office chair to go and get coffee is an achievement I reckon.

It's great that you like PvP. Looking forward to your improvements. I think PvP could give this game a lot of longevity and replayability

Wandering hordes now are a random encounter and they come near you. It would be that with a bunch of other modes. I would like to do mini blood moons. Like a 2 hour warning and 1 hour worth of zombies swarms to you, similar to how STALKER's PSI-emission warning gives you that oh crap moment.

Lunar storm?

(7d version of a rad storm) That would fit the game very well.

The weather (although going to be revisited) has always been a micro-management thing. This lunar "red-moon" storm would be a nice change of pace.

1 hour is short enough, use what you brought with you and survive!

 
Hopefully A18 arrives soon. My solo A17 world just got corrupted when I tried to place down a jeep (I'm just being spammed by Null Reference errors every time I log in.) :/

Lol. Think your tough with your imperial pounds? Just because 375 sounds better than 170 (kilos).

And full squat or half squat? How low does your ass get to the ground or do your thighs just go to 90 degrees?

I'd say hold my beer, but the extra weight might buckle your poor flabby muscles. Lol

I am saddened to say I actually had to resort to Google for this. All those years as a child, watching these cartoons, wasted! I obviously didn't learn a damned thing!

 
In A17, you can not paint the transport, as far as I know. Maybe this error is due to a modification of the game?

That's not paint. Whenever you try to place a vehicle, it will either glow green or red. Red means it's an invalid spot, and green means it can be placed there.

I apparently can place any vehicle anywhere in the world, but 4x4's crash the game. :/
