I haven't been keeping up much, but when I come in here, I notice that MM has been active a lot more. I really appreciate that.

Also, I've been playing God of War (the newer one), and Kratos looks a lot like MM. What a BAMF.

 
That is an intentional cleanup process or the game will continue to use more memory over time. You would not want it running during combat, so it runs after about 20 mins when you open a UI screen.

Ok thanks for clearing that up, it can take rather long tho before the actual UI window appears. I am sure the cleanup is needed, just wondering if the opening of a loot container is the best one to trigger it, but I guess that also loads the inventory window as well which does.. Yeah tough call, seemed less than it was in A17 so hopefully this is a non-issue in A18.

 
When playing with friends I have no choice but to live in an underground base. Normally I create my own base. A17 I switched up how I play and I only took over POI instead of building a fresh base. I prefer taking over large POIs and fortifing it now. How about you?

I can't stand that, way too much work and easy to miss one spot where they can get in. Its easier to build a new base IMO, but I'm picky about where my castle is and what it looks like.

I joined the military while I lived in Florida. If you end up joining be in florida!!!! Flroida does not have state income tax. If you join the military in FL you never have to pay that tax while just about everyone else, there state will take the taxes out your paycheck regardless of where you are stationed. So you can go your entire career without paying income state taxes its awsome ;)

Not quite sure what the issue is. You release the spear as your hand comes right past your head not at full extension. You only full extend your arm as follow through so you don't lose power at initial release. You can throw that spear literally into anything immediately in front of you.

No, you don't release it right past your head, you release it at full extension (or almost full extension). You can see it in the video too. So the minimum distance between you and the target is more or less the length of your arm + the length of the portion of the spear that is ahead of the hand.

Why does the glass panel need to be removed? Is it just annoying junk to everyone?

Level design knows. We didn't always have the tech we have now with a "helper" cupboard block that is placed and randomly spawns as a cupboard open or closed, so a few legacy painted blocks need fixed. That one actually was a cupboard but it was rotated 90 by accident and an open one.

also madmole i saw in the video that the Flame mod(don't remember the full name) but the mod looks a hell a lot better

I see, badly rotated blocks got the better of you, but now it is known and can be fixed at some point so that is a win :) .

The glass panel hardly makes sense in loot in my opinion, would rather just add broken glass in its place as trash drop. Just as useless as long as mega deserts full of sand exist, but still a fully assemble glass panel in a trash bag??

My son is in JROTC and he gets to wear the uniform every Wednesday to school. He's very proud of it and it boosts his confidence. I think it's good for them.

Wearing in school is fine, recruiting tool...but a parade, a public event...naw I disagree but to each his own :)

i think its because my body is always warm idk how to describe it like how people some people feel warmer or cooler then others. kinda like that)

 
Unfortunately texture arrays in unity cannot stream, so the paintable wall textures eat a lot of texture memory, so we can't just keep adding new stuff until Unity fixes that.

I think the issue that some people have is that the paint brush doesn't seem to give all the options that level designers have. I think if you pull the dev brush from the creative menu, it gives more options (I assume that's what the level designers do) but I'm not 100% sure.
