Maybe when radiation gets added in area like the wasteland
you could get the Armored Hazmat Suit

it has the same strength as iron and protection

but gives you Rad protection
No, we'll make Radiation resistance mods that go into your armor. The suit will have low armor and highest protection so there is risk/reward. A poi deep in the wasteland might require wearing hazmat suit to get there, then switching to armor when you get ready to go in.

@Madmole
I'm very much interested in trying out the agility build. As someone mentioned, it doesn't have much stuff that helps you during a horde night.

Have you considered giving it some crowd control perks that would fit agility build?

For example:

A 4x4 net you can craft and throw on the ground that slows zombies that walk over it until it degrades (broken by zombies' feet)

A flare (CM had a flare model at some point) that distracts zombies from players for a brief moment.
Maybe the net would be more primitive

but if you want one that's powered Called the Flinger trap

(it looks like a Screen door, with a Air compressor and springs and can fling zombies and break their legs)

and the flare is a good idea

and maybe for a more primitive version

you could make bait

(with a mix of Rotten meat, normal meat and Hide)

you can have something that you can throw that lures nearby zombies and animals so you can lead out a small house

while the flare (can't be eaten) and will distract them longer

ok like Lead Plating , Gasmask etc

Maybe the Radiation come and goes like a dust storm
Useless. Ark had those heat storms and all it does is put the player out of the game. Oh gee this is fun sitting in my survival tent and watching the timer. But its survival its realistic. If I wanted realistic I'd go dig ditches in the hot sun and sweat my ass off.

Also, since agility gets a higher jump, could it do some damage or knock zombies down when you land on their heads.

Or have the ability to jump ahead from their shoulders without having to land between them... :D that would be agile!

true lol

maybe the Radiation Drugs there could be two kinds

1 that lowers your Rad intake

2 and one that removes the Rad levels like in fallout

(but both can cause side effects)

and there would be area more radioactive than other like water sources and other stuff.

and zombies there are mutated and have bones growing out that act like armor and the Feral that are mutated are blind. but the hint of a sound they would go ape ♥♥♥♥ lol

and maybe in Random gen there could be SUB biomes

like Cold wasteland , Desert wasteland , Overgrown wasteland etc

The gold standard is one week for 510.100.000 km² :cocksure:
maybe just me ive had 5 minutes start ups and ive have 30 minute start ups. probably had the game file save somewhere in my folders so hence fast start up lol

Nice. Yes I buy a new rig for Elder Scrolls/Fallout every time it comes out. Was disappointed with 76, but the new pc is nice regardless.
Ah! You are a hardcore fan don't you? IMG_20190912_203336_357.jpg I HAVE POSTERS. Beat that big guy...

Hi Forum Moderators,
Just some update comments for page 1:

Change detonation zombie information as it seems we now know what he will be doing.

Add death loop cycle prevention for BM night.

Remove "New Options" - drop nothing on death as this is already a feature in A17.

Was the sticky grenade in the game yet?

New zombie alert sounds (or old, but new for us as the game wasn't playing them).

Improved Z AI (alternate pathing for some Z's)

World Changes: add the mining changes and new surface ore top blocks

Were all the dye colours something added now? Something about losing black dusters but being able to dye them.

Maybe also include weapon mods?
It’s hard to feel motivated to do this when patch notes are coming anyway....

You make an interesting point, but there are several use cases to consider:
How is a naked guy going to get his stuff back? With no protection it will be nearly insta death in radiation. So unless you have a seriously stocked up pile of rad meds or spare rad suit/ rad modded armor you will never make it back to get your things.

What makes you think you can get your gear back?

A naked guy will have no chance, no matter how hard he tries.

Your assuming +200 gs is going to drop amazing loot. It drops a lot of brown, just a higher chance for better.

Don't forget losing XP each time you die, well you did and it does cap at "buried into the red" I think.

Time wasted, that horde is coming?

Maybe rad zones rot your bed roll pretty fast, so don't forget travel times. Beds might have cool down like RUST if we allow multiple beds and unclaimed bedrolls in the will decay, only claimed beds might persist.

To me I don't see any issues with it. There will be mild radiation in the entire wasteland, and heavy radiation in POIs. A naked won't have a chance.
That's true, it would be hard as SP.

But MP might work, with one player retrieving backpacks and the others doing the grind.

Then again, if the loot difference is that small, then its all a bit academic.

In what way is the axe better than the chainsaw.....? lol
It may not be technically. But I keep a toolbelt that doesn't change for different task, and that means fireaxe is good for replacement. I don't need to cut 100s of tree, I just cut 2 and get my thing done. By the time I find chainsaw I usually have spare wood in my drawers. So never bother to cut lot of trees.

What about the rest of you? ;)

right tool for the right job :)
unless you have that magic tool/weapon that does it all :)
Rocket launcher is that magic tool.. lol, I recently play a server that goes in waiting mode for a18, and they enable creative menu in game. [i know I can play on local game like that], but I thought to just enjoy it. so I pick a rocket launcher. take a task to clear zed or fetch, and go to build, activate Task, and boom blow up the building .. [it take 20-30 rockets yes].. and task is finish easily. standing in one place.

Got to tell you it is fun that way too..

Being the best at stealth has its drawbacks, its not intended to be played as a pure build. SMG's are now a Tier 3 weapon and are governed by agility, so with perks and mods are pretty solid crowd control and with cheap ammo. Buff with HP ammo and mag extender, I don't see any serious issues. Use a magnum with penetrating rounds through bars and shoot through zombies. Line your whole belt with magnums if you want and reload when you have a chance.

I can't say its flawless but I will say its not worth worrying about until you get a hands on.

maybe you can craft throwing knifes (Just Scrap and Hide or something) there good at stealth damage

But not good if your running your in a rush

Compound Crossbow: able to hold 3 bolts and higher power the Normal crossbow. but has less durability

You can on the powered garage door.

No only powered doors and they are vault class.
Would love, love, love to see any preview media on these.

Also, MM - this got me thinking about the earlier posts about a lack of people using electricity "bc I can defend my base without it." It seems to me adding more high tier / vault class stuff might incent people to power their base. Apart from the power doors, stuff requiring power like security cams or advanced crafting stations (EX: lathes, foundries) would likely convert more players to the dark side.
