What about all of us who never bought this game to interact with radiation? Why force us to play in radiation zones and then to add insult to injury make the only way that cancels the effect be on a timer to force us to hurry. I like to leisurely loot and scavenge and making me hurry and get interrupted by periodic exposures to radiation and have to maintain my hazmat suit is just going to turn me and everyone else in the universe just like me away from the game. Don't hurt your sales by doing this. Give me the choice to turn radiation on or off so I can go into the big wasteland cities and just loot all day without any threat or time limits or worries.
I also like to go to the best loot locations on Day 1. Are you telling me that I will be able to craft a fully functional hazmat suit from plant fibers and cotton on Day 1 so that my playstyle remains intact? We don't all play like you Madmole and if I want to go to the biggest city with the best POIs with all the legendary loot on day 1 who are you to force me from not doing that? Why punish your players by making them wait and grind before being able to go to the radiation zones?

And what if I dig to bedrock under the wasteland city? How can radiation get me there? Are you telling me that I can't just stay in an underground bunker forever without being bugged by radiation just because I built it under the city that has radiation at the surface? Why are you trying to drive me to the surface and then to whole different biome? Why do you care if I want to live underground in the radiated wasteland biome undisturbed by radiation?

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm?!?!?!??!!!111111!
Careful! You're disturbing a hornet's nest. ;)

easy

Magic duuuuuuuu

also Joel i had a idea for the wasteland treasure about the honey in the Jar

indeed of the jar there could be honey comb

you can use it to make a jar of honey

able to make teas with it

and meds with it

Just saying I liked it. Not everything needs an ugly wire IMO but its kinda too late.
the wires are staying right?

you can hide them...like you do IRL. It takes a little planning. Am I really in the minority here?

More like jack the GS 100-200 above yours and you know you are going to get some amazing loot, but be ready for a glowing sea of radiated badasses. Also be on the time crunch because your hazmat suit would either degrade or leak some radiation in no matter how good it is, putting a finite time pressure on you to get in and out before you die of radiation poisoning.
I cannot say I like this idea at all but in the past, ideas I thought were bad ended up being implemented very well. So in TFP I trust. I still am very concerned about bandits being a thing though.

Lol I bet you were happy when we put in the stripper zombie.
This reminds me, can we get more stripper type zombies....pretty please? :)

Close. You forgot to say that you bought the game for yourself and 5 friends.

Yes, and he said pina instead of Piٌa. You disappoint us all.
My keyboard insists that only pina exists.

Dude, thats like.. racist? ^^
Didn't you know? Milk drinkers are the master race. The way to heaven is the Milky Way

The fact it keeps coming up should show that people are in favour of having it turned off and that it's important for them.
Well, the request can't be THAT popular if every voice in favor for the last few hours was yours and yours alone. Shows only that one person can keep a discussion alive by simply circling through his arguments again and again

You said you liked the post-apocalyptic look and feel of the wires, so I ignore this statement and take the other one that I liked better.
I do. What I'd do is leave them for basic wiring, but then make a "power box" that powers stuff in a small radius.

sweet thanks =) looks like I finally found a reason to mod 7D2d. It only took what 5+ years to find a reason not to play vanilla lol

It should be, we offload work to the gpu now and its image based instead of a bunch of math, so it looks better and less bugs.
"Does that mean we can supply images to base RWG off?

So like, could I make my own heightmap and biomes file, pass that into their RWG and it sorts out towns/roads/lakes/etc based off the supplied data?"

also i have a idea for people in the mid to early days for them to fight a behemoth

Obese Walker: Stage one of a behemoth zombie he His So fat That he has to walk in a 2 by 2 wide Hall, he wears some small Shorts and Has A ton of Fat and his Face and nose is Gone and can Spray puke Like a hose but not for long range.

and then

Infected Body Builder: a Mini Behemoth this Big lade Has arms and legs to put the tank from L4D to shame , he has the Health of 6 zombie Bears and is very dangerous, While he cant cause Bleed he Can Cause Blunt force trauma and Stun, but he not the smartest and the best way to kill him is Breaking his Legs and finishing off.

then Joel's Behemoth which you need a TON OF FIRE POWER TO TAKE HIM DOWN! im talking about flamethrowers , 50.CALS . Frag rounds anything

his has like the HP of 15 zombie bears

I know...beating the electricity thing to a pulp - Late stage gaming...when I'm done building a massive base and done "making it pretty", that is the stage of the game where my defenses are already done. What now, besides going out to loot and repair my stuff between horde nights? Oh yes, wiring up lighting throughout the base, hiding the wires, making power poles, a solar array, motion sensors hooked up to all the lights and blade traps. Making ventilation systems that aren't functional, but look cool. Yes, electricity is not needed to defend my base...but it allows me to make my base more "mine". Isn't that part of the game is to have fun? It gives us a break in between slaughtering the masses and an excuse to spend money at the trader on stupid stuff like a cash register to store my money, water coolers, and all the other not needed decorative stuff. Electricity does serve a purpose. It gives us something else to do in the game that technically does help in defense if you choose to play that way. Heck, I just slapped in 10 Shotgun turrets just because they looked cool "protecting" my drawbridges. I doubt they'll even be used except for horde night, but it's cool having them be there if I do choose to use them and knowing they are functional. That's just icing on the cake. I like trying to figure out how to protect my relays being shielded, and how I'm going to make the wiring look cool. Seriously, Electricity is fun.
