I have another question: in a future update when we mine ores and resources etc will it ever have an option to respawn like the loot does?

I don't think I have seen this discussed anywhere

Day 21 perception build horde night

Just a few comments:

- grenades and tube bombs do not destroy the landscape (perhaps this explosive does not destroy the blocks at all)

- 14:52 - the pipe bomb cannot destroy a badly damaged wooden frame

- when reloading a hunting rifle, the character charges NOTHING in the chamber

- 13:33 - when reloading the sawn-off shotgun, the character charges NOTHING in the sawn-off shotgun

- 9:29 - reloading is allowed in aiming mode now, as before

- the size of the crosshairs of the sight does not change in the aiming mode of the sawn-off shotgun

Probably done for gameplay reasons. Otherwise grenades would be less useful on horde night.
agreed

I hope they do not add block damage to granade type weapons or else it would be an annoyance on horde nights and generally make the environment look like ♥♥♥♥. Damaged being caused to the invironment will also have the side affects of increased CPU usage, increased GPU usage along with overall more GPU processing power to render a damaged area.

EDIT: IMO dynamite should cause damage to the terrain.

EDIT2: Maybe TNT not dynamite, I forget which one you can place on the ground shoot it then it goes boom.

Plus we all love to see stuff go boom so this would be one way of giving players a cheap way to fill that itch.

Also its unrealistic for granades to cause noticable damage to the terrain in real life.

maybe like 100 or something

EDIT: infact dynamite is used for mining so yes it really should do lots of damage

but we can always use the xml files I guess

Don`t remember this being discussed last years, but what is the point of that ? It is a world that you take advantage of to survive, refilling mine ores just makes no sense. Who would go and refill them ? :)

Well, was camping and hiking and binged on 7dtd lately. Anyone hurt here ?

@Madmole

Nice design for defensive windows. I plan on stealing it for a future build. ;)

they are. frag grenades dont really do that much terrain damage as it is. and dynamite doesnt either unless it is packed. like a firecracker in a can v's on a table. lots of shrapnel tho.
This^

I have thrown live grenades and they don't do much to the terrain. Might damage some wood but the shrapnel is more for tearing through bodies.

yep, the grenade, contact grenade and the charged pack do little bits of damage to blocks but a lot more to flesh/skin. :)

throw enough at same spot you will damage blocks. (if you can afford that then may as well craft HE rounds for the rocket launcher and really destroy things).

That wasnt just a stick of dynamite, that was packed and bored into the ground. They didnt just toss a stick down the shaft and get minerals lol

I think it would pretty wicked to daisy chain some C4 or stacks of TNT together and set it to a pressure plate or trip wire. Watching an entire group of bandits get cleared in one fell swoop would be very satisfying.
