One word: stackability.Does anyone else find it difficult to throw away small amounts of dukes that you find in loot (10 dukes, for example), but you don't give second thoughts about throwing away or scrapping something that could be worth, say, 100 dukes, even if those (10) dukes are in your inventory? Like, is there some weird psychological stuff going on, or is it just me?
True, true. I just always look at the 1 or so duke I find in loot and go, "Ahh, you know, that's super valuable... But I need inventory space. I'll scrap the headlight then (which is worth around 50 dukes)." *Shrugs*One word: stackability.
A fast way to scavenge is hitting "R" whenever you see at least one usefull item and sorting out/scraping useless stuff later, then there are a few items and scrap materials that will automatically fill up inventory. It is only a temporary relieve getting rid of them because you will find more of those items in the next POI again. You may as well collect them.
Combat music won't start until you have clearly been attacked, its not going to kick in just because someone is sneaking up on you like in OblivionI feel once the Dynamic Music System includes combat music a lot of those annoyances about sneaky wolves, dogs, and zombies will be put to rest.

It's not just a visual disturbance either. Bike tires really really hate them too.
Thanks we are discussing, as usual there is a reason for things. Make one thing look better 50 other things go sideways.Sure, left is default, right is with the brick block having a -100 density.
...but I can promise you, the devs who actually handle this stuff are already aware, there's likely some justification against it (even though some of their prefabbers use this trick too)

I guess you could always make more factions and quests for them through modding which is most likely the path they will choose for it because while it could be a part of the settings which are available when creating a new world, I can't imagine how would we create quests for custom factions. Devs would have to give us some kind of quest editor for that purpose which would be cool, but it would most likely take them a very long time they could spend on the game itself. When TFP get around to making factions it would be neat in RWG if we could make our own faction that we would be siding with.
Not at all. A few dukes are one of the first things to go.Does anyone else find it difficult to throw away small amounts of dukes that you find in loot (10 dukes, for example), but you don't give second thoughts about throwing away or scrapping something that could be worth, say, 100 dukes, even if those (10) dukes are in your inventory? Thanks. That's what I've been worrying about.Combat music won't start until you have clearly been attacked, its not going to kick in just because someone is sneaking up on you like in Oblivion![]()
Yes, you do level up and there are perks (done in a pretty cool and lore-friendly way too IMO). Later you will also get an entirely new progression system unlocked.I tried some more witcher 3, but the combat feels poor compared to Skyrim so I just get new mods and play a new build in Skyrim lol. Can you even level up in that game? Are there perks or ways to get stronger?
Damn wish I knew this. I bought the game played like an hour of it and never picked it up again lol.<snip> I really suggest you push through the beginning, and soon the game will become great for you.
LolIf the zombies had some kind of group consciousness and were parts of a greater whole, so to speak, then the player could be the infection that causes an "immune response".
Agent Smith was right!![]()
I'm looking forward to the farming change as well.Snip.

level 6 AK at day 7....luck or cheating?
Its for hearing not smell. You make a noise, it makes a noise bread crumb they go check it out. If a new noise is made, they check that one out, etc. (I could be partially wrong, I didn't write it)Waitaminute... wait just a voxel-smackin minute...
Was there ever a formal explanation for the "new bread-crumb system" the z are using in A18 to follow the character's path, that sounds like it is working so well they had to nerf the # of wild zombie spawns that peeps be freakin out about for too many pages recently.
DID YOU GUYS SNEAK SMELL BACK IN AND JUST NOT SAY IT? yet.
Cause that's what this sounds like, what other explanation could there be. I think you did, and that's what this new system mechanic is for.
Its disabled until stealth feels good. We may or may not bring it back, if we do it would probably need a rewrite so much code has changed since then. First things first, bandits.I refuse to believe this until the devs confirm it.
I commented on your twitter, I have used that POI for horde night before. They love to get all clumped up on the underside. You can't see/shoot them, and they will take out your floor... just a tip, wish I had a dang heads up when I did it.
This is feels like that but looks better. Not near as harsh 90% of the time, but that 10% you get a sprinter its good to soil yourself.IMHO way back when zeds ran in the dark in buildings was amazing, so many jump scares and it really made clearing poi's fantastic and something that set 7d2d apart.
AH, ok, if it is not for smell then it does seem like a good framework to use to bring that system back. I don't actually want smell back, personally, but it does seem interesting, if implemented right. Its for hearing not smell. You make a noise, it makes a noise bread crumb they go check it out. If a new noise is made, they check that one out, etc. (I could be partially wrong, I didn't write it)
