I just wanted to put my 2 cents in, I love this game, i've played it for over 1000 hrs and i still think this game is fun!!! And scarry at times hehehe

Keep up the great work and i am looking forward to A18!!! Longing to try out the new weappons and say hello to our friendly zombies who just love to eat our faces off :smile-new: I love the screamers even if they are a pain, you get alot of exp when all the zombies come to vissit.

I Love the sceanery, it is very beautiful and the sound fx are excellent and creepy. the eary music and doors creeching wow !!! everything is keeping me and my friends on our toes. So keep up the great work!!!!

 
Any chance of barbed wire bleeding zombies coming up? We have barbed wire mods that have a chance to do that so I was always curious as to why barbed traps didn't.
Maybe because they are already very powerful and effective in slowing down zombies. For balance bleeding barbed wires would have to be MUCH more expensive to build or lose much of their slowing effect. EDIT: or not last as long

All traps in 7D2D trade their own hitpoints for damage to zombies. It means a barbed wire with damage would also be gone much faster. I rather like the barbed wire to last all horde night.

What i would love to see is that if you place a 1/2 block you can still use the othe half to build or place stuff like when you put rails round a stair case, it would make building so much easier. ex. put 2 halfblock to create an L shaped corner and be able to place a flower or turret in the corner.

 
I love the game very much MM but the last patch was bug fixes and stability Issues. there may have been a new PoI or two but you cant say that we got an "update" 3 months ago so stop whining. I know people are antsy but A17.0 EXP launched on November 16, 2018 so effectively this is month 10 since an actual update and we were promised that with "this new build that Alpha's would be quick to turn out no more once a year update cycle." your words (at least pretty close)

Independant of what update really is supposed to mean: If a person uses the word "update" you also have to take HIS definition of "update" to find out what he "promises" you.

Interesting. While cursing is against forum rules, cursing people with bad luck in the game is not... ;)
Do I have to find an evil witch now to relieve me of this curse? Maybe I just shoot at the horde of zombies and the bear, seems easier.

 
I have 2 vehicle sound bugs open at the moment. 1 is on my A18 MF, the other is not.
Yesterday I added steering and tire sync to remote vehicles and motors updating on remote vehicles. That does make the top gyro rotor spin, but not the pusher prop.
Were you able to sneak in a few buttons that could be linked to other animations? So instead of just turning on headlights we could add other cool animations? =)

You know what, I'd be good with that. They'd make a great investment/upgrade for mid-mid/late game defenses considering what a material sink things like blade traps are. For people playing more nomadically instead of entrenched in a base getting the steel required is tough.

mostly I miss the old log spikes. Current wood spikes break down too damn fast to be much use, as do the iron for the cost. So having a barbed wire fence that I could upgrade a few times as mats become available would be sweet.

 
Yeah School doesn't prepare you for anything important.
Overall there should be money management courses, relationship courses, goal setting and importance of grinding and visualization, more programs to get people into the work force. History? Stupid. Doesn't do anyone any good, least of all teenagers. Yeah people fight and die over stupid stuff, I never learned anything from Rome's mistakes. They should have courses that build confidence and teach you to have a strong hand shake and make eye contact, most these kids are introverted because of phone life.
Really? Things like reading, writing, spelling, (typing), speaking and mathematics are are not important?

Also, it was from the Romans and people like them that we learned those skills from.

You want to talk about history ok.

Ever had surgery? Roman and Greek medicine that we built on.

Medical terminology? Greek and Latin (Roman).

Major buildings, roman architecture.

Our government. Yep follows much of what we learned from Roman republic.

Personally found the game through daughter who watched a youtuber playing the game, she made me watch a few videos then I bought her the game and got myself a copy as there was a dual pack on offer, being playing ever since, bought 3 more copies and now regularly co op with son and her.
I get what MM saying but I think he is airbrushing over the way the community/game has grown due to the long development phase, every alpha has expanded the player base because of the unique overall game.

Think TFP are doing great but MM getting tired by the MF bug delay and is on here a bit too much, reading criticisms and rehashed topics, feeling frustrated by people not reading or focusing on A18.

Personally I want A18 it looks/ sounds awesome but will await with baited breath till it's out, I'm still playing A17.4 so thanks You TFP for the hours of fun may it long continue.
Sorry if I seem edgy, Pie in the sky mode was 2012-15, now things are cemented and I think you will love it. I know perception and intellect need some love yet, but I'll start builds on those next ;)

 
I'll take fewer zombies with voxel terrain. There are dozens of games that have lots of content but static terrain.
If that's where the game needs to go... so be it. /shrug

madmole I agree im nearly 15 and for like the whole of y9 teachers where leaving and joining all the time I mean im polite and not like all the teens who display idiotic behaviour I must say your point is EXTREMELY valid

 
Yeah it was disappointing he couldn't make weight. I like watching him fight, its never boring. He brings it ever time. I think he's grown up a lot and has been making weight. I just don't see Till getting it done he's too inexperienced.
What do you think about Whittaker Adesanya?
Adesanyas most notable wins are an over the hill Anderson Silva and maybe Fatstalum I think? I honestly dont know him very well but has a lot to prove for me to pick him over Whitaker. Whitaker is pretty badass.

Im picking Whitaker but Adesanyas has a chance to rise to the occasion.

Its more of a post mortem, its where it is and staying.
You can always do big sections, like a wall made out of several 1m blocks and expend just 1 call on them until destroyed (or not) . And blueprints. 1 meter is infinite both ways , it all depends on how you treat it. Specially now that you have the block tech mature and realistic. Limits on placing are gruesome even on FO4 building.

 
Madmole was musing about how much of an obstacle voxel a have been from a dev viewpoint but he never said they would be removing voxel terrain from 7 Days to Die as anything more than an option.
It's like Bob Ross wanting to show us photographs because of how much using oil paints is an obstacle to presenting an image.

my mental state is normal, people who turn into mad killers are often weak minded and unstable trust me kids games are well lets just say they are not up to what I like they give me plain boredom and I have played way worser games than 7 days to die so trust me I will be fine but 7dtdin particular is a masterpiece in my opinion has all the things I like about games and the thing I love about it the most is the developers dedication to their game I may be nearly 15 but I assure you im not a dumb*** trust me:smile-new:

This is out of pure curiosity, not argumentative.

If I was assigning priority to bugs it would be hard for me to justify what seems to be minor vehicle sound issue as an MF for experimental, is it really THAT game breaking?

If thats an MF this release is gonna be pretty polished.

It might be a post gold patch. If it allowed for 200 zombies on screen and the same FPS and memory???? I think a lot of people would opt in to give up mining for that. There would still be mining, just not digg anywhere kinda mining.
Word, I would rather buy most of my resources from the traders anyway.

200 zombies sounds like it could open the game up for things like followers, npcs, large npc towns. Maybe a charisma skill line for companions ;)

I will make a radio tower and bringing a trader npc into my base... then i drop a blueprint like the forest or whatever and build his base for him and he moves in after i finish.

Also, dropkicks.
