Yes we want to do things like this, and have quests with unique pois and you get there and the quest just triggers.

That's awesome. If y'all go full skyrim with the radiant quests and radiant ai it would be amazing.

No when a18 is stable and done patching, we will order the localization. Might take a year might take 3 weeks, I have no idea about this.

Any plans on switching to xpath instead of the lacalization.txt? It's a bit of a nightmare to deal with for modders like me who prefer to purely write xpath code instead of relying on possibly questionable .exe tools that others have made to patch the files.

They always do, but they are happy as they can be, I swear!

(but yes, they'll probably kill somebody if they don't release A18 TODAY)

 
MM - Thanks for the info on the dye. I didn't realize we had the ability to edit/adjust them. Your team consistently amazes me with what you have left unlocked for us to tweak with. Now time for me to start digging into the XMLs to find out how to tweak them. Thanks!

 
You are confusing a magazine for a clip. A clip is just a string of bullets that can feed a magazine or "holder of five" or whatever for putting them in easily then you toss the clip. The clip never goes into the gun, its a convenient box is all. All our guns that shoot bullets have mags except the hunting rifle which is single shot.

No I wasen't lol. I was purposely saying clip to annoy the gun nuts. Hence the capatilisim 😁

can we get a chat hook that works with Grammarly?

actually a funny mod I had in Rust based on Oxide would let me replace works. so I would have bad works come out as "I love you man!" it was so fun to see in chat :)

You should try R.O.N then:

 
New rules at my house:

1: You will wear a 7D2d shirt. (Several sizes available.)

2. You will use a 7D2D mug.

3. Water is ok.

4. Anything else requires you to search house or yard for a book, schematic, or a recipe that would suit you.

4b. In emergencies my wife can function as a trader.

Yes, that IS her normal voice.

5. Dukes are accepted. Nothing else is.

6. Playing 7D2D with me is NOT a requirement. But, you WILL not interrupt me while I am playing.

And you should know, 20-30 hour play sessions are not uncommon.

6b. The wife is excluded from this rule only in an effort to put off starving to death.

7. When A18 releases no other topics will be allowed.

8. No estimates will be given as to how long these or any individual rule will remain in place.

@Madmole Has your recent in depth playthrough of A18 helped you see the game get closer to your end goal for the game? and or has it opened up more of that awesome imagination box in your head as to were you plan on taking 7D2D from here on out?

I guess what I'm trying to ask, is the game real close to completion or has the recent playtesting opened even more ideas...

I just woke up so I'm sure i'm butchering my own questions lol..
