All sounds good when it all works as it should but the ROI does seem low based on the amount of work needed. Definitely seems like a lower priority to me.
Yeh no doubt but at least most of the tech is already in the game, it just needs to be repurposed.

You meant: "Occlusion is 100% fixed TFPs promise. No taking backsies, if not you all get free mugs."
Mug still feels weird to the touch, gonna use it as a center piece.

also with the the book lucky looter when it says you can have a 20% drop of loot with it being so high will the loot bags be nerfed or will the percentage chance be changed?

With the removal of level gates, the reintroduction of some loot-based progression (with options outside of the foreboding power of RN-Gesus! examples include schematics, books, etc.), and of course, all the new content, I can definitely see A18 being one of the greats. ^^ Great work to you all (ie from you all)!
Yes 18 was fun two months ago, but now is just really fun with all the little balance tweaks and polish we've done.

I'm waiting for the Days to Die, Coffee Cup A19:

-Optimized Paint.

-Dual wield cups.

-If you drink a full cup, you get a Perk.

-Shipped with no MF bugs inside.

Worth the wait!

If shale deposits and gas usage is basically the same as A17 then I'm glad you did that.
In A17, I don't understand why people don't drive motor vehicles all the time.

Keep up the great work, looking forward to playing an A18 agility or strength build... soon! :D
Don't forget fortitude wolverine build, its a ton of fun and when things get nasty pull out ol' painless.

So far the sewing books seem to be the least desired. If you didn't drastically nerf clothes in loot, I'm gonna have them found long before I expect to find the books. Even the bonus skill (about military clothes), which I expect to obtain in the very late game. Only pockets skill seems useful. Does clothes also have random stats?
Other book series are very desired though.
The pockets are awesome. I agree its nothing special, but if we come up with other clothing mod ideas we can make one of the books unlock that and shuffle some things around. Yes clothing has random stats.

I heard Joel's brother in the last stream video say that bandits were coming into alpha 19? Could have been just a mistake since he said it in passing. If so that is big news.
Possibly coming to 19. It depends if we do a small 19 before xmas or a big 19 next spring /early summer.

Watching the last gameplay stream. There seems to be still quite a lot of issues with the object culling. (popping in and vanishing furniture specifically).
It that resolved already?
Probably not, object culling is turned off at the moment to debug the new tree culling.

Question:From A16 to 17 there were changes about how Blocks worked and Prefabs from Players needed a Converter to work again.

Due to the Blockshape Menu, are we getting Problems again? Are A17 Buildings of Players compatible with A18?

Thanks
I would say more compatible, but there are always thing getting depreciated. No major changes AFAIK.

With gas finally beeing a finite and non endless ressource... could you look into making a fueltank in A19? Like a chest for fuel that automaticially refuels the generator and car if its in a specific spot?

BC at 400 output, refilling generators daily is quite annoying and tbh not really viable on servers. (yes I haven't optimized it yet, but still mostly the wame with 100 output)
I need to play with electricity before promising anything. If a tank of gas only lasts 24 game hours on a generator I'd see that as a problem. Or are you saying 24 real hours?

BTW, you constantly spell "being" wrong with two ee's.

and yet its tfp' game and their responsibility. and no forum warriors will change anything bout dat. :)

If someone rents a car at your cardealership and kills 5 people with the car it is YOUR responsibility! Nothing will change that! It is your car after all!
The difference here is that this isn't a rent-a-car, they sold the rights to Telltale.

This would completely be a 7D2D 2 thing, but what I'd love to be able to play is a choice based system on if you're a bandit, trader or random player.
Trader Joel's is an immortal independent faction. They are not owned by Duke or White River. The other factions will be mostly killable, generic dudes that respawn as we need them for missions.

You probably misunderstood, its probably a 20% better chance. so a 1% chance plus 20% is 1.2% chance. I'd have to look I don't even know what you are talking about off the top of my head.

Thanks for the reply, Big one :)

Currently building a Community Center with a Trader and some Deco-Houses and would be really sad if that gets canned. So i hope the best

67 right now. It stands for must fix, not might or maybe fix. 0 is mandatory.
Thanks. I understand that it stands for must fix, but I did not know if for the Experimental, not the Stable, if they all had to be fixed before then or just before the Stable release.

Some ideas:

-thick padding +1 armor to clothes

-better fittings -0.5 stamina while running

-parfume increases stealthyness by overriding your smell

depending on how much output you have it is roughly (haven't tested it in detail) 24-48 ingame hours.

please start playing with electricity soon :D its the most fun feature ever since its introduction. So many possibilities and so much organization! Love it!

Also thx :D I generally proud myself on either authentic spelling, mixing british and american spelling or at least looking it up :D but sometimes things like this just go under my radar. Being corrected is nice ^^

I'm not sure... they sold the rights to develop it... but I feel like its more of a contract its more like an indefinate rent :p

Like a flat that you rent out.

No matter, doesn't change my point of them not being at fault here.
