well I was going to demo blowing a safe, but I grabbed the wrong one or editor placed ones don't spawn the locked one. So you got the zombie demo instead. Doesn't that RWG lake look amazing?
It does look amazing...have you touched water? Looks nicer than before or it's just me?

well it sounds more punishing so i am intrigued to know what it is
Me too. I've played "Delete All Inventory" on death since Alpha 15, cause I wanted a harder punishment on death. It looks like I'll play on vanilla again, Madmole got me a little scared with that hint.

At your bedroll.
Adrenaline fall: Imagine your heart racing and adrenaline pumping from stealing a bunch of stuff, you can do super human feats when your adrenaline is pumping, so falling came to mind. John Wilks Booth broke his leg jumping out of the Ford theater and outran everyone because of adrenaline.

EDIT: And simple parkour training even MMA training they teach you how to fall even if its just getting knocked down or tripped, knowing techniques can greatly reduce damage. I was 50 and fell flat on the concrete trying to learn how to ride one of those stupid surfboards with wheels (forgot what it was called). Was a bit sore but fine, I hear stories all the time of people falling on carpet and breaking hips or getting a slipped disk. A bit of technique can do wonders for preventing injuries.
Oh the oddness came from the having to carry 5k dukes for it to kick in... I love the adrenaline fall idea except for that, and am already plotting mods to take advantage of the hook.

Fits with my fantasy/medieval mod ideas nicely. :)

It probably was, I can't remember it was almost 30 years ago. I can row 320 pounds for 12 reps, so yeah 60 would be super easy for me.
I own and use a backwoods hunter 60LB draw recurve bow for target shooting and when we go hunting(to eat , not that ♥♥♥♥♥ trophy bs)

They are hard for most people to pull back once that is for sure...But if you have the upper body strength its not bad at all...I will say though , after a day of shooting , pulling back and holding that thing 40+ times you WILL feel it at the end of the day!

If you find a book you already read... can you read it again by mistake or will you get a message that you already know it?

Especially in MP I would prefer to get a message and being prevented to read it, so I can give it to others. I don't want to look up each book to and see if I know it or not.

Mmmm, love me some books. Great to know how much more of them there are to see yet as well.

I can already see those C4 getting used in all kinds of fun applications, especailly in MP, and likely with a fair amount of oops, and things not running the way you want them to once they have their sticky boom boom on. So, is that one book the only way to craft them? I assume so since the lockpicks are also exclusive. I do actually like that detail, now anyway;)

That lake does look awesome, I definitely noticed it. Really looking forward to seeing how the world itself has changed, that there is a promising sign.

Well yes the water did as well as the rest of the map.

Hey! don't try to change the subject! ;)

You can switch weapons during reload again, so no problem. We might add exploding arrows at some point for that rambo fantasy fulfillment.
:D

Oh boy do I like to have my rambo moments, typically they are unexpected and I die, but I never mind because such a death is so gloriously messy and memorable. With exploding arrows you're damn skippy I am going to end up gibbin myself by using one point blank on some feral as I blurt my final victory(of sorts) scream/laugh before finding out where the ♥♥♥♥ I dropped that bedroll on day 1...

I think the balance on both is perfect imo, but I do think they should be buyable from a trader... I never really understood requiring a perk for a seller to sell you something... Sure, have him sell it at a high price, but the "secret stash" has always been weird to me.
I agree on that, the problem with looting Beakers is like the old Forge-book trauma, way too much up to the Gods.

I dont mind the better barter perk, I just see it as a ability to smooth talk so that the trader trusts/likes you more and is willing to share more things.

I do hope things like airdrops get a better stash too, looting cans of dogfood and 3 bullets at level 90 is kinda meh.

I too wonder how, and if, there will be any change to the availability of beakers. I had one game where I was never, ever, able to make my chem station because I never found any, and it was a long game. Not usually that big of a prob, but sometimes it was, in A17 anyway.

I thought it would be a nice complimentary perk to the guy who just sneaks past the sleepers and grabs the loot up top and jumps off the roof, and fun in pvp or in general being able to make some jumps without breaking your leg, but have to carry 5k on you to do it.
