Does it help if I corroborate and say that landmine retrieval is DEFINITELY in for A18...?
Not at all.

Reassurance from Trolland is just making it worse :-)

On a related note... when are you planning to play the smiley game?

what on earth is the purple thing on the right hand side of your belt? it looks like there is a stereo icon.....
A note to the testers using the new unpack feature, it gives you a bunch of OP stuff when you open it.

Thanks for the reply but i dont understand lol!Love the way the game is heading by the way. absolutely itching to play.
Its a super easy way for a tester to get cheat items instead of grabbing a bunch of stuff from the creative menu you just click that paper and it fills your inventory with cheat items.

ahhh i see thanks

the other day you were making a comment about looting with respect to looting zombies and said something along the lines of not wanting to have to loot a whole lot of zombies just to find a fishing lure.

i know lootable zombies are not in, it was the "fishing lure" bit that caught my attention...

any significance to that?

I disagree. Do you stop to pick perks during precious daylight hours? Sometimes a big POI takes every second of the day and travel time to make it back to the trader and then haul ass back to base before sundown, and in that time I gained 12 levels (before). Now that its nerfed I pretty much know exactly what I want next because there is time to think about it and time to desire it. When you level every 30 seconds like before I mean who wants to constantly go into the perk menu? I need to get ♥♥♥♥ done.
There are times when I'm saving for a perk too, (high attribute req) and dont' really look at it for a bit, and all of a sudden there are 8-12 perk points to spend. That said I slaughter nearly every zed I see and quest non stop, so I'm going out on a limb here to say I level way faster than most players. I mean one molotov could get you 12k xp if you know how to throw at the right time and place.
When i watched the streams a few weeks ago, i was actually bothered by the fact that most of the testers only concentrated on doing as little as possible and getting back to the trader. I feel that there is too much emphasis on the trader, if you can just do quests and sell loot, rinse and repeat and survive there's something wrong. It should be quests for Xp and rewards, buying and selling when you're in dire need and can't find what you're looting for?

Seriously, go watch the streams i remember a time when prime was wanting to do more, but the others said they just wanted to go back to the trader even though there was time and no reason to.

hey i'm having an issue with the mod launcher anytime i try to load any mod i comes up with an error that says failed to load mono. i tried uninstalling the game and mod launcher and it still doing it if anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it.

There are all these different archtypes now so its not about using what you find, its about finding what you want to use, so everything now drops equally. And if you don't like it, scrap it to parts and sell it or save your parts up for a good weapon. A brown weapon T2 weapon only sells for about 40 dukes if its in pristine condition, so I don't really see the issue with finding lots of guns. Its America, most people have at least 10 guns.
Lol. It's difficult for me to imagine that much guns as I am from the EU. I think you have a point. I kinda like scrapping weapons. A lot less painful than when there were parts and with nice reward. Deep down it doesn't bother me that much. Now that I think about it, Fallout has a lot of guns also, just very well located.

It is intended that you CAN completely rely on the trader. You can also completely ignore the trader. You can learn things by spending perk points or by finding a schematic or by purchasing a schematic from the trader.

They want you to acquire gear and increase your abilities utilizing any method you please.

really liking all the upcoming features you guys must be working hard asf
