Why do you care how bandits survive the horde night?First comes the Bandits, then Boats, then Bandits on Boats :fat:
There are bugs being worked on.So....A18.
Is the RWG stuff all set? or does it still need more cooking?
edit: and can we get some more screen shots of it?
Yes you already guessed the proposed design or saw it on the video as I was showing stuff.Don't know if this needs new code but what if Charging Bull let you run through zombies making them ragdoll? I mean you still get the crap kicked out of you but at least you can es'cape in difficult situations. Each rank would allow you to go though more zombies. So rank 1 you can move through 2 zombies and rank 5 allows you to move through 10 just as an example. Or if you wanted to, just regulate it to a perk book. I don't know just a thought.
I was gonna ask, are you doing the Keto diet?

Lmao! Why do you care how bandits survive the horde night?
I'd love to see boats, but the producers don't think we need them. Its a lot of work in a game that really has a lot of other things to do. LIke ok Ark has boats, and you can build a little mobile base, thats great. BUT, they don't have any meaningful POIS to explore. No cities, nothing really other than some caves and a few ruins that get old in 2 minutes. So for them where maybe they have more programmers than level designers it makes sense, we have more level heavy team so for us we focus on doing locations very well, no other survival game with random gen does it as well as we do IMO.Hey Madmole. I see that you would rather work on bandits, survivors and the story-line than boats and water physics. I get it.I can also see why it would take up so much of TFP's time.
But I was very surprised that you remembered about the scrap tools. I suggested that only once, years ago during one of your video responses.
You have a very good memory. lol
While I like boats and such. I find the story-line and the introduction of more NPC's much more appealing.
Hopefully someday we will see boats and water upgrades, but not today.
Or download a mod, I might make some myself.I think the main issue between players is...Those we want more hardcore/realistic Survival vs less tedious/arcade thing. Maybe down the road we can choose between types of balances.
Don't put the boat before the horse.First comes the Bandits, then Boats, then Bandits on Boats :fat:
Nice! I've been on Keto since May and lost around 45lbs so far, doing cardio 5 days a week. Once I'm down to what I want I'm gonna start hitting the weights. This is the best health decision I've made in a long time, I feel amazing.Yes you already guessed the proposed design or saw it on the video as I was showing stuff.
Yes I'm doing keto, or low carb anyway. My protein levels are so high some keto experts might argue I'm not doing keto because supposedly too much protein will convert to glycogen but whatever it is what it is. What I do works, so I'm not going to argue with it. When I do it, I consistently get stronger and slowly burn fat, provided I work out at least 4x a week and do cardio 4x a week or more. 5x a week is better because I can eat a little more. If I lower the exercise or cardio more than that you end up not losing fat fast enough to keep sane, or have to lower calories to a level that is non sustainable long term.
Yes here and there. I just need to flush 18 so my mind can regroup. After so many unshipped features have been added I go nuts talking or thinking about new designs. Talk of new stuff just clogs up my brain which is full of 18 perks/balance/books right now. That stuff has to go out, get finalized, then I can kind of open my brain to new design discussions again.@MMOh also..
Is your suggestion you brought up, of having unique zombies just for the Bloodmoon horde still being discussed?
Understandable. Cool!Yes here and there. I just need to flush 18 so my mind can regroup. After so many unshipped features have been added I go nuts talking or thinking about new designs. Congrats! Thats a ton of weight for 2 months. Yes fat is literally cancerous, and raises estrogen (which lowers testosterone), raises blood pressure, lowers self image, etc. I feel fat at 15% body fat, but I used to be around 22% and felt nasty. I'm trying to reach around 11% or even 10% this time.Nice! I've been on Keto since May and lost around 45lbs so far, doing cardio 5 days a week. Once I'm down to what I want I'm gonna start hitting the weights. This is the best health decision I've made in a long time, I feel amazing.
As for the Charging Bull I had no idea lol. I just try to suggest stuff that could be done via XML. I only suggest an idea that needs code if I thinks it's crazy awesome.
Yep.Not true I (and probably a few other people) lurk here daily but don't post anything just have a good read on whats happening.
No. What do you get when you put bandits on boats?First comes the Bandits, then Boats, then Bandits on Boats :fat:
Seriously, O? What about Boats ON Bandits? (This is where I break out my Lego's and show...)First comes the Bandits, then Boats, then Bandits on Boats :fat:

Would have been so much funnier if you had (temporarily) copied and pasted what he said...It's in my bio![]()
into your about me box cause you know a bunch of us are going to look there after reading your answer...at least I did.a programmer fluent in Unity, C#, and most importantly capable of working with dynamic flowing water voxels, and integrating to an advanced project with 7 years of code.
Producers eh? Interesting. So Im assuming theres some stuff you personally would love to see but are being told no. In your next post you mention possibly making some mods. Let me be the first to say I would probably look forward to your mod way more than an Alpha release. Since it will probably be close to your actual vision.I'd love to see boats, but the producers don't think we need them. Its a lot of work in a game that really has a lot of other things to do. LIke ok Ark has boats, and you can build a little mobile base, thats great. BUT, they don't have any meaningful POIS to explore. So its kind of a thing where we'd rather do what we do do really well than spread ourselves too thin and have another buggy ala carte feature added.
