I'll let the cat out on this. Zombies can get aggro when hit and nearly run now.
Oh my god. I've been waiting for that for ever, but i thought it from a new zombie perspective, some kind of berserker, when you hit it it goes crazy or something. But this...this is 1000 times better THANKS!!!

And the Glancing Blows I've been wanting to see it in game for so so long.

I have to say, this will be the best version of this game until now hands down, i'm glad you guys are still putting so much effort in this amazing game.

I'll let the cat out on this. Zombies can get aggro when hit and nearly run now. It can go from slow to a brisk walk to nearly sprinting. It makes combat a lot scarier because they can suddenly sort of lunge at you. Hitting them again seems to sometimes slow them back down, but it is very cool. Sorry if your an always walk guy. I mean they don't just turn feral if thats what you reading here, mostly its a small increase in speed, just enough to make you feel a little uneasy and cause them to close the gap and hit you a bit more.
On the plus side, (IMO both are a huge plus, zombies were zero threat before and I didn't need armor at all) players now have a glancing blow so as you swipe your sword across a guy it might hit his arm and then hit his face for the intended hit. If you miss by a milimeter you will get a glancing blow, so less missed head shots that result in nothing at all, and it kind of helps make combat feel less binary.
Pretty cool. That should make things more exciting.

Hammer of God in CM.
not best choice... it tends to take out more then you wanted... the supa digger is best for taking out 1 block at a time or stand back and go Rambo with it... good way to easy the tension while building. :)

Ah but dye is no longer a mod. I mean it is, but its not adding damage/stats or eating a mod slot. We're adding a dye slot below the mod list for dyes. So clothes have one mod slot and one dye slot.
Any chance that vehicles can get that dye slot as well, so when a group of you have parked outside a quest location you can see which vehicle is who's?

Or the ability to paint the vehicle with the paintbrush? Maybe just characters like 2 numbers or 2 letters.

Its a toss up really. Random stats on items with quality is really cool, but I like the feeling of specialization the most. If I go into one tree and just max it out, use the weapons it governs and perks in the intended play style, I feel rewarded and I'm starting to feel like a special character archtype vs just "survivor" like before.
My strength character felt like a badass blowing heads off with shotguns and smashing zeds with clubs. He smashed open safes with his good tools and tool perks.

My agility character is sniping zombies at night with bows, using lockpicks to open safes, fights with a hunting knife in melee and uses a silenced pistol when I have enough ammo and a magnum on horde night or for bigger tougher zombies.

The books are cool every time, nearly every one I find is useful. Schematics are cool too, collecting recipes for foods saves me perk points I don't want to spend, and my Agility character has 1 int, so far I'm faring just fine. I am using the traders workbench, and bought a schematic for a chem station I will craft eventually.

As cool as those things are, the game feeling balanced and well designed is the best thing about it. I can do what I want and have choices. Perks if I know I'm going down that route, but otherwise books schematics and traders fill in the gaps.

I found a motorcycle chassis schematic, bought the handlebar schematic, but now an engine is keeping me from having my first vehicle. Its day 16 and still on foot. I don't mind it though, I have the no encumbrance at night perk so I transport my loot at night and snipe everything I see with my bow, its great. You can see at night now, the moon puts off decent light. Its still a little dark in some biomes, but overall its fun being a night stalker.
Great, sounds great, I generate a doubt, can we build vehicles with our skill points or just with schemes?

It sounds great, now all id want is random walk/run speeds and random get up off the ground timers :)
We have random agro speeds now, so this effectively does the random/walk/run speed request. ZOmbies no longer walk at you in sync, you'll see the one you hit take the lead.

My experience cheating is... limited.

This would be very cool, but colors should be really dark-ish, in A17 colors (in weapons) are really bright, don't look as good as it could look.

What have you done, I now have to listen to this when I am mining...
I had a bear and rabbit visit me when mining. Thankfully the bear got stuck in the hole and my 44 took care of business.

Yes when we do vehicle mods in A19.

Anyone can assemble a vehicle with no perks, or buy them complete from traders, if you have the coin.

Perked players can craft the parts as well as players who find the right schematics. So grease monkey is potentially a waste of points if your patient but if bad luck is running your game, as it often does you can buy it. Future builds will probably enhance the perks.
