About a year and a half ago I gave a code named hint for an upcoming feature. So for a change in topic let me do so again. Joel will probably reveal it when he returns but until then let’s see what guesses arise from

heh, for a second I thought that it read "Cosplay Mantis shrimp", instead of "Codename Mantis Shrimp".

I was kinda scared that we would get videos of MM walking around his house in a Mantis shrimp costume.. :scared:

Jumping Z's is kinda strange,

Had a Brown Tank Top Z riding on the shoulders of the Hawaiian Shirt Z...

I would like to see more stuff in the mailboxes than just paper, maybe like the magazines we used to have or maybe some flyers. They can be coupons to use at the Traders.

I would also like to see quests that are not from the Traders. Lets say Buzzes Bar an NPC can have the doors blocked & you have to go rescue his son trapped in a POI he was scavenging. You rescue him & he lets you scavenge his Bar, just a thgought..

Can't decide if it could be a little person zombie that can get through 1 block gaps or some sort of water threat so we're not totally safe on a raft (or in a canoe)… Hoping for the latter but either would be cool.

THIS is the introduction of the Male Stripper model .. due to the accuracy of his stage name he failed miserably and committed suicide.

 
Mantis Shrimp. Hmm.

Something that strikes with incredible force for its size.

Battering rams for bandits?

Or something that is spring loaded and busts stuff up, like a catapult.

For "Mantis Shrimp" I'm going with a zombie that can punch through walls effectively. Essentially a scaled down Behemoth.

I'm pretty sure this was leaked a while ago but as a preview instead of a confirmed feature.

aren't mantis shrimp the ones that snap their claws so fast it breaks the sound barrier and creates a sonic boom underwater that vaporizes the water in small sphere with some seriously high temperatures (cavitation)?
