About a year and a half ago I gave a code named hint for an upcoming feature. So for a change in topic let me do so again. Joel will probably reveal it when he returns but until then let’s see what guesses arise from

Well, after a bit of wikipedia skimming, I will wager a guess.

One of the features of Mantis Shrimp is that they are often classified into distinct groups when it comes to attacking capability based on the shape of their claws. Spearers, and smashers.

So .. I am thinking maybe alternate attack for the spear as a blunt attack? You can either jab to do bladed damage, or you can swing the blunt end as a club for knockdown chance?

Or yeah, the dual wielding thing.

(MM already talked about left hand being able to hold something, so yes, dual-wielding is a safe bet, but also a boring bet. I stay with hippie zombies)

TFP, I pray to god that all of you will release A18 asap. I just read 20 pages of debate along the lines of why you should switch from Arial font to Times New Roman or I will never play the game again. You must have the game in a pretty decent state if that is all people can suggest. Waiting in the wings until there are some multiplayer improvements, but feel your core game is really solidifying. Everyone is very excited.

(some) zombies doing power attacks or maybe hidding underground and appearing from nowhere

when in close combat, a zombie could hug/clamp the player while gnawing him over and over

A new zombie that hits you causing a massive ragdoll effect?

Duel wielding fist weapons (not just art)?

Ability to knock out players or NPCs?

Water enemies?

Beserker Zombo (base destroyer)?

Power fist weapon?

Vehicle weapons?
