It is last, why would you say it should be last when I listed it last?
The confusion arises from the fact that you appeared to have listed wood frame and arrow last, there's not much difference between a comma and a full stop. It appears I'm not the only one to have misinterpreted it :-)

I've pushed it to the front though. Everyone is complaining for no reason. Its stone axe, club, bow, pants, shirt, frame, campfire, trader now. 1 arrow, 1 frame.

It makes you feel like a badass. They hear stuff and you stay in the shadows and wonder if they will find you, they say things like "did you hear that" "who's there", etc. They look for you once you fire an arrow their way. You do extra damage when stealthed. Stealth kills with custom anims. The system makes you feel like a badass and is easy to understand. What's not to like?
I certainly wouldn't mind seeing a nice bone knife in the zombie temple animation. Has to be so much work though, especially considering all of the possible weapons.

Nitpicking the tutorial, nerdpole and now saying skyrim's stealth is trash? Thats enough for me me. I'll check back next week to see if there are any sane topics to talk about or actual questions that I haven't answered 5000 times.

Can there be a short down state where you can revive you're party members. Having you're friend die when you're far away from base bites. Also aiding other people with healing items would be better than having to drop the item at there feet. Having a quest automatically distributed amongst party members would be nice. Party changes like that would help the co-op experience become more solid.

The problem is the order. No one wants to have to make a bow again after they already have one, just because it's the bow's turn in the quest.
If you frontloaded ALL of the quests (every quest comes in NOT as a chain, all at once), so that it didn't matter the order, it'd be a whole lot better, and we wouldn't be wasting resources making things twice, or wasting time standing around knocking out the quest.

The chain for the tutorial just doesn't work.

It would work GREAT if there was a little "tutorial map" though, because it would then make sense. Start off on a 128x128 map next to a dude to tells you to do this then do that...
I like this idea too...

Also...minimap for when on a vehicle plzkthx. Perhaps showing a 100-200 block radius (or having a mod as a GPS or something to add to the vehicle to facilitate this) so when you are cruising down a road you have a little warning for a path, intersection or otherwise on your travels rather than having to check the map every 5 mins (and getting ones face eaten by a zombie in the process).

Really? I mean... is it THAT DIFFICULT to make another bow? I dunno, just seems like... people are complaining to complain.
Sure, it'd be nice if it recognized you already had one, and that'd be the best solution, 100% agree. But i'd rather they worked on something else. If this was something that you had to deal with throughout your entire game, that'd be one thing. But something you have to do ONCE, at the very beginning of the game... just isn't much of an issue (IMO).
Solution: Make the bow un-craftable until you hit that tutorial. Like it's a recipe you 'learn'. If all the intro quests couldn't be made available (or even as an option to make them all available for 'returning' players since the tutorial is REALLY handy to direct new players to when they join our servers) at the onset, either quit ya whinging about making a second bow or make the bow un-craftable/recipe you learn etc.

There is plenty of time before the bubble breaks and you have the need to use said bow if you smash out that tutorial quest chain so why argue.

I can't wait for those new books to come in-game. Please, can they just come in A17.4 instead? To tide impatient folks like me over?

Sorry if it's already been asked, but I have 2 questions.

I hope they'll be answered next week:star:

Question 1 - Will the hand held models for food items be back in A18? I miss eating those pies and stews.

Question 2 - About the demolisher zombies, it says to shoot them in the flashing sweet spot to detonate them. When you detonate them and they explode, that explosion doesn't do damage to the blocks around them? They only do damage to blocks when they explode on their own?

I hope there's a way to kill these zombies without them exploding at all like the cops. If you kill them quickly enought they don't explode.

I'm not a friend of standing on a roof shooting with the machine gun and throwing Molotov cocktails. This kind of defense is too inefficient for me as it uses a lot of ammunition unnecessarily. I prefer to use traps like blade traps, dart traps and electric fences to defend my base. But with these traps it wouldn't be possible to kill an exploding zombie from a safe distance so he wouldn't cause massive damage on the base.

Stealth kills with custom anims.
Now I REALLY want stealth kill animations...I remember when they were added and how cool they made stealth killing.

Any hope this can be put on the table for a future feature?

Its "Oh, WOW!" stuff like this that will hook new players.

What I would like to see are new blocks for building such as a arch for an inner corner and additional clean looking textures so that a base also looks new and shiny.

For stealth gameplay.
Agreed! Plus, nice to lockpick safes and vault doors

About a year and a half ago I gave a code named hint for an upcoming feature. So for a change in topic let me do so again. Joel will probably reveal it when he returns but until then let’s see what guesses arise from

Codename Mantis Shrimp.

EDIT: that was a bad guess.

I take it back. Dual wield melee.
