Same exact thing was said about the minimap with its radar blips before it was removed. People claimed the game would be unplayable without the sense it lent to the player.
I’m not saying I wouldn’t buy the perk. I’m sure I would long before I hit those top tier quests. What’s really going on is you don’t want another tough choice competing for your hard earned skillpoints. Making it a perk wouldn’t be denying it from the game. It just wouldn’t be a free gift from the start.

It could also be part of another benefit like the one that shrinks the radius for buried treasure so it isn’t such a specific narrow usecase.
We learned the hard way that starting out totally gimped and buying perks just to become mediocre infuriated a lot of players. (Re stamina and grind of 17.0) Some might like starting handicapped but most don't. I feel like the radar blips are a basic level of functionality, you have ears and can hear their footsteps and get a general sense of where they are, as you can IRL, but portraying exact 3d position with sounds in games isn't easy so the radar helps with that.

Best. Zombie. Game! I've spent nearly 2500 hours in Skyrim, and this is still way more fun. I understand not everyone is happy with everything, that's what mods are for. TFP are putting together a hell of a game, just wish I'd been in earlier, as I only picked it up in Alpha 16.

Better get started then. =)
Lol I wish it was that easy to get stuff in the game!

I think its been stated 1000 times why we aren't getting pets or pet NPCs.
So that armored wolf pet that you mentioned in the A17 concept art video is scrapped? Damn

Maybe then the labels will appear only for those zombies who have already woken up, or for those zombies who reproduce the sound of a moan in a dream? )

I’m not picky about how the blips appear. My point is they appear because the player chose to have them. Options menu choice, drug effect, book effect, or perk effect—whatever. The key is that there are no radar blips naturally but the player has means to get them if they so choose.
I really don’t think seeing radar blips as a perception perk is bad game design but if I’m wrong and it truly is then one of those other ways that doesn’t cost a skillpoint is fine too.
We get it you like a hard or impossible game. Removing basic QOL features is just going to be frustrating to most players. Its already kind of hard with the blips, why make it infuriating to people unaware of the perk?

Uninstalled!!!!

Negative review pending...

;-)

I think it stems from the mythconception that we'd have tamable wolves or something. <shrug>
Hey, y'all still plan on having a launch party in dallas? (was re-reading ks goals)
Not sure. Pimp Con 2020? Sounds like it could be cool.

Pets are a ♥♥♥♥load of work for too little benefit. Should be asking them to polish current animations/models instead.
We are. Once the new stuff is all animated we're going to do a polish pass on all the old stuff.

+1
They will, I trust in that new hired guy, the one who did Doom's animations. I hope they enhance zombie mocap animations too...
Enhance? Its already captured, you can't enhance it.

Appreciate the motivation, got any pointers on where to start? It's been something I've put off for far too long now, and I'll be getting into it more now that my schedule is more normalized.
Start with small mods for any popular game you love to play. Release them, get feedback, iterate with improvements and bug fixes. The feedback from players will be motivating and give you a reality check on your work quality, how good your idea was and fixing and polishing it to the finish line will be valuable as well. This is why I suggest a small mod at first so you don't get overwhelmed with bugs or lose your identity in the process. Tackle bigger mods after a few smaller ones.

If that goes well move on to commercial applications or get a career in the industry. The main thing is to just build a portfolio of work you have done. Guys who apply for a job with no experience, its critical that they have a huge portfolio of work they did in their spare time to prove they like this line of work and it shows their ambition and skill level. Set some small goals and then set bigger ones. Good luck.

Your English is fine. Making food harder to get, does nothing nothing for end game. End game content (difficult biomes with boss zombies that drop legendary gear) is what would finish off the game, in my opinion. I'd rather have something to look forward to than knowing that mundane, trivial tasks are going to become more of an issue.
It's not only food.we can found Bullets medicines and fuel everywhere. Maybe we can use as comodities.for TRADE like money in exchange for special items.like a tribute.to stop bandits raids.like humanitarian help(?).. you are sending suplies to alied NPCs or faction.

At first you need food to survive. Them for other mecanics improving end Game.

Enhance? Its already captured, you can't enhance it.
Re-do then? I know you won't but it worth to try

Edit: The game is reaching a quality level that don't match (it is leaving behind) those animations anymore IMO.

Skyrim is my favorite game of all time. Mods keep it alive. I hope 7 years after gold 7 Days mods are keeping us alive like they have Skyrim. I have 3k hours in skyrim and almost 1k in special edition lol. I don't even play that much, but 2 hours a day adds up.
