Yeah I love the original. That is the idea with various new zeds coming at different game stages to keep hordes challenging without adding 15000 zombies on screen.Have you ever played Plants vs. Zombies? The solution to your problem is right there! ;D
When the players have so many tools and freedom to build all sorts of defensive structures, eventually the zombies must adapt as well...!

You are confusing skill with quality. We have both systems. Deleting quality would just further diminish the reason to go loot, something nobody liked about A16.I just wanna throw this idea out there. What if we got rid of all "Quality" items in the game? Purple, green, yellow, etc., and instead implemented a system that automatically adjusted the quality for the player based on their build? For example if a player is speccing into an archery build and they have max perception, when they find a compound bow the the game automatically attributes it to the player as a Max quality/Purple quality bow. This would be ONLY while being held by the player. In other words, the "quality" of the weapon would be only as good as the player's ability to use it. That means no early farming for stacks of Dukes to quickly buy high level gear and be OP by day 3 Then that way, there wouldn't be any reason to have 6 different copies of the same item in the game's data registry. We could even have a similar method for armors, and other non-weapon items.

As far as i know, plains are now forest's subbiomes. After playing a lot of A17 i noticed, that there are a lot of trees in the forest biome, sometimes i can barely see new POI's. To be honest i miss those green grassy hills.

Oh I see. I kinda missed the plains biome though, considering that Arizona does have places like the plains. The forest was an okay biome but didn't have much distinction, especially since they added pine trees into those forests in A16. Mostly old stuff that was given with a perk, is now a book or schematic to unlock it so you don't have to buy the perk. The constant struggle for texture memory and they didn't really have a clear purpose. We wanted to redo all the trees and redoing them was going to be a lot of work for very little return. One really good forest is better than two mediocre ones. Spectrum swapping, why is this forest colder than the other one, just a lot of stuff.
