Short story is multi gates aren't fun for super basic stuff.

Fair enough, but stone arrows are still pretty worthless now other than the starting quest. aybe they could be dropped from it and use the resources for something else?

Also if we are lucky enough to get a schematic that a perk also unlocks, shouldn't that perk also unlock because it is gating other perks? (For example, I found the bike schematic, but still have to buy it in order to unlock the minibike.)

 
Is it me or do all zombies have grey-ish hair in patch b152??
DaVega, someone on our server was asking the same thing. No one else playing was seeing that so we assumed it was some combo of video settings he had. I can ask next time I see him if he's still seeing that and what his settings are. He also said it has only happened on this version.

 
quick question: is the burst speed of the zombies moddable? messing around the xml files, didnt find it yet.

more as a feedback I think its overall nice but sometimes too fast, I would like to slightly reduce the limit =)

 
will there be any chance to impliment the ability to select what quality you want to make and crafted item?

gathering 15 parts for a max quality item can be quite the chore, and having a lower quality item to at least Have one would be better than not having it till you can come up with all the items to make the best one you can.

Ya, I havent had it happen yet. But I imagine a player focusing on 1 perk early, getting deep into the perk,

and then realizing they cant craft the weapon at all until many hours and searching for more parts could really hinder their attempt at specializing.

An option to craft a lower quality would alleviate the frustration of that situation.

 
Hey Joel, remember I was talking about the HOLD to ADS. That would be great.

But as far as allowing you to sprint and/or jump while ADSing maybe that could be an agility perk somewhere in a tier. But pretty fun to be able to jump over zombies heads and shoot them when you're hoping over them and ADSing their heads in 😍😅

PS: A15 to A17.x worked without any problems.

only mod on the server is ALLOC latest AND I tried telnet shutdown without ALLOC mod to make sure it was not the mod and had same problem.
@faatal @TFP was the shutdown problem fixed with B152?

 
Out of curiosity I did 5 map generations, weirdly enough the biomes remain the same, just flipped or inverted. Is this being worked on by chance? The seed names are the file names.

It took out the day 14 bloodmoon horde no problem, though I don't recall what gamestage we were at. There wasn't any damage to the walls and the blade traps only required some minor repairs. Loving that I no longer need to have all the various crafting parts in my inventory to repair them. Using only steel really simplifies repairs, in a good way.
Our day 21 bloodmoon is just around the corner. I'll be sure to check the gamestage and see how it holds up. Unless our evening session gets rescheduled I should have an update tonight.
Nice yeah most stuff will be a repair kit down the road probably. Cool I don't see how you could build that so fast unless the other people were mining mats for you or you are on 90 minute days or something? I built something similar on my last build and it was just flagstone with no traps and only one door. Digging the trench took 3 blood moons to get it to where they weren't jumping the gap lol.

I'm thinking of doing a non dug down version, I'll just need to elevate a driveway to the draw bridge is all.

Is this possible, without having to change much code?

After the game gets day count and decides its day divisible by 7 "bloodmoon"

Then it gets Hour count and it is 22000 "10pm" Then set BloodMoonStart.

Start a bloodmoon tick counter.

Set this tick counter for 6000 ticks, to count down to =0

@0 get BloodMoonEnd routine.

This way every other day is still governed by midnight exclusively.

And BloodMoonHorde is changed from a day event, to a timed event consisting

of 6000 ticks. Then resume normal day hour counts.
I'll let Faatal answer that.

 
Just a thought, but -not- for this game, since the repair mechanic is already cemented.
-If- a Repair took a full minute &/or dismantling into parts, then Durability would be a much more important stat. And Secondary weapon as well.

Right now it's pretty easy to fall back enough to allow an in-fight Repair. If that wasn't possible it would change how folks prepped and played. Would also up consumption of repair kits.

Add in a RNG 'Breakage/Stoppage' mechanic, first requiring a Repair, second fixable with a Reload, and now you've added some spice to gunfights.
I'd just make them repair only at a work bench and that would solve that. And of course slow it down some.

No not really. Once grease mechanic is more than a gate it will be more about the perks than the unlocks, like boomstick I don't buy it to craft shotguns, I want to do max damage and get all the perks.

Planning to on all broken workstations. There isn't a game yet where I didn't have to buy 3 ranks of engineering, the damn stuff never drops when you need it. I've gotten by on the chem station but I need a forge by day 10 at least, usually sooner than that.

There is a ticket on it, hopefully we get an option, I prefer hold to ADS. I'm on the fence about sprint kicking you out of it, that might have to stay.
