So you are trying to tell that there are people here, whod rather wait another 2 weeks for the release, than get to play a18 this weekend with some bugs. I honestly dont believe there is such a person, not on the forum at least. Im updating the damned thing like 8 times a day, just so that i wont miss any piece of info.

Yes, I would rather wait 2 week and have them release it when it is ready then rush it and face the backlash they have in the past.

 
And yet, another vote for wait it out. I'd rather have a bug-free/less product and willing to wait for it...and yes, I'm excited too.

Well they've been releasing alphas as "opt in experimental versions", so in YOUR case, since you'd rather wait it out, you could just um, wait it out before updating. The rest of us will be playing experimental. =)

For me it depends on the state of the MFs. Nothing game breaking/no frequent save corruption? Nothing major impeding the gameplay? That sounds gucci to me. Based on the gameplay shown I'd take it right now. But if I'm going to be sweating over my save being Thanosed every 30 minutes or it crashes every 10 minutes, I'll be more patient.

 
Hope PeterB is aware that TFP is never abolishing any digging from their still amazing game.

For now. Remember when we could say that stuff before the console port was introduced, then all of a sudden we were right and the console port was introduced? Are we heading for static terrain? Sure, I know what he's *said* on the subject, but... &lt;shrug&gt; THAT kind of faith is gone. Hope I'm wrong, as usual. =)

while there is a lot of impatient people... we do have patient people as well... :)
and it doesnt matter... last i heard... MM dropped the magic box with the green button to release and had to send it out for repairs. :)

Oh damn it all, can only hope that more bugs got crushed under it when it hit the floor. Guess even that magic box needs some more QA testing.

Let me clarify a few things - Yes, I might be your uncle. I'm not planning on waiting for Gold, but I do like my Experimental branches with as many bugs removed before playing each iteration. Our current 17.4 server is chugging along just fine and I'm only level 246 so I haven't unlocked everything yet and still waiting for my new video card so I'm not in a rush. We've got plenty of map left to explore/conquer.

I’m not a fan of Justin, I can’t put a finger on it, but I just don’t like him. Maybe because his success is due primarily to having a tough chin and a big right hand, I wouldn’t call him skilled. At the same time, I’ve always been a huge Cowboy fan. I like his approach to training and fighting, he’s talented, he seems to respect the game and, man, has he fought a lot. It was a shame he lost that match...at least he’s at peace with it.

 
Yeah pedaling sucks lol, literally the food right out of you. Especially in the cold. I have no food but some eggs right no, I ate so many steaks its not even funny.

Pro-"Bike Tip":

There's actually a "technique" you can use to save food/stamina with the bicycle. Always keep the SHIFT button pressed and press W every few seconds. The SHIFT button will avoid your bike to lose speed too quickly like with a real bike. This works especially well downwards on slopes.
