Bug Description:

Have Intellect Perk on level 6 but could not skill the hammer & forge skill. But when i reached playerlevel 10 i could use a skillpoint on hammer & forge. seems like these perks have a levellock again.

Reproduce steps: skill up intellect and see if you can spend a skillpoint at hammer & forge and/or the Advanced Engineering skill. than level up like the old system (level 10 for hammer & forge lvl1) with the level lock perks.

Actual result: Cant skill hammer & forge or Advanced Engineering if only intellect is skilled.

Expected result: Unlocking hammer & forge and advanced engineering perks by skilling intellect.

Bug Description: Since Alpha 16, the item sprite for the Chrysanthemum seed has been bugged out. It became the in-game model of a freshly planted seed instead of the custom item sprite added when the seed was added in Alpha 15. It's should an easy fix that can be lumped in with the next small patch.

Press F1 to open the console, then type dbs

This will open a panel in game for you to type the bug in.

once done click ok

there will then be a SCREENSHOTS folder in the main 7 days folder.

Yes, I am running on Mojave. My rig is a 2017 MacBook Pro. 15" with a 2.8 i7. I also hope it is not a Unity error.

Bug Description: Dualshock 4 works well in steam but when the game is launched it does not see the gamepad. It works well Windows host os, but doesn't work with Mac, Linux. Works well on Mac when the game downgraded to the a16.

This is by design...basically it's the equivalent of 'no loot' when you bust open the box/picture/etc

Reproduce steps:

1) Start game

2) Get on a bicycle

3) Begin sprinting on bicycle all over the map

4) Stop

5) Get off bicycle

6) Find out you can't move

7) Log out of game

8) Log into game

9) Cry upon seeing all items on belt are now lost

Actual result: Not being able to move after getting off bicycle and losing items upon logging out and in

Expected result: Being able to move after getting off bicycle not losing items on the belt

Working as intended. Forge is level-gated (specifically, 10). Description of Forge skill needs to reflect this, I think.

All the descriptions should show what level requirement is needed (as well as per level requirement) IMO. There's extra info in the second tab of descriptions of items, why not perks?

If you hover over the lock next to the perk it'll show you the requirements.

Reproduce steps: Inserted dye into shorts, legs turned pink and shorts stayed white. Removed dye, tried in tank top. Tank top stayed white, arms and chest turned pink.

Bug Description:

Reproduce steps: I play with my husband, and we only found one mining helmet. I had military helmet so he took it, but when he has it turned on I cannot see any light and the surrounding area is dark (at night/in caves/in houses). However when he turns it off, on my screen it turns on and the nearby area is illuminated for me even though his screen is dark.

Not sure if this is intended or is some kind of bug with lighting. Thanks for the update, (late) merry christmas y'all :D

Bug Description: Next to a trader, there is a massive cluster of pine trees. Not only are they grown against each other filling the whole space, but there are actually trees on top of other trees, like nesting dolls. This is causing massive lag in the area, as which normally happens with a thick cluster of trees. The first time I flew underground to get a picture, my game immediately sent me to the main menu screen. I was unable to connect to the server until I shut down my game completely.

You have a modded client, connecting to a modded server. Pretty sure that makes this report invalid. Read the OP again.

Neither 'mod' affect anything of the sort. they are purely for commands for our admins. and cbsm isn't really a 'mod' as it's not installed. Neither of those have the slightest bit to do with how things spawn into the world. I don't understand why you're being so rude about it. You all asked for reports, so I made a report. If we were getting unknown crashes, then I would understand, but this is GAME GENERATED CONTENT which CPM does NOT affect in the slightest.

 


Just re-read the OP, I don't see anything about not making a report if you are running a mod.

I just did some burn time calculation vs wood costs. Remember that 1 wood burns for 50 seconds.

Here goes:

Wood plate takes 4 wood and burns for 5:00. Should be 3:20

Crude wood railing takes 4 wood and burns for 2:30. Should be 3:20.

White picket fence takes 3 wood and burns for 5:00. Should be 2:30.

Wood arrow block takes 8 wood and burns for 5:00. Should be 6:40.

Wood arrow slit takes 4 wood and burns for 5:00. Should be 3:20.

Wood board stair & rail takes 8 wood and burns for 5:00. Should be 6:40.

Wood catwalk takes 8 wood and burns for 5:00. Should be 6:40.

Wood catwalk corner takes 8 wood and burns for 5:00. Should be 6:40.

Wood catwalk wedge corner rail takes 8 wood and burns for 5:00. Should be 6:40.

One gas can burns for 5 seconds and 1 gas barrel burns for 20 minutes. Considering that you need 600 gas cans to make a barrel, the barrel should burn for 50 minutes (3000 seconds).

Unrelated to burn times, Why would Hobo Stew take an ungodly time to cook compare to everything else?

I was wondering why you did not take out the XUI that's written all over the map preview interface.

TFP, I know us Mac OS gammers are a minority, and not important to the gaming community as a whole but I am wondering if you are working on the Mac crash issue? I know these things can be tricky (I work in software development) so I won't ask for an estimate on when you think this issue may be fixed but the crashing makes it so that the game is no fun to play in multiplayer. Every time the game crashes and we log back on we have to get re-invited into our party and then catch up with everyone. Please at the very least let us know where this defect ranks on the priority list (Aka Backlog if you scrum)

Are you using Mojave aswell ? Since I updated to Mojave I can reproduce this error on my mac aswell.



Next thing on my todo list, is to test this with a Unity debugging build.

That happened to me, too. Only minimal movemant possible, without being able to leave the 'trap'. Had to pick the concrete to move again.

Bug Description: Boats at dock at loc 825N 1577W will sometimes collapse just by stepping on them. If you are lucky enough to have them not collapse then collecting either the gas barrels or harvesting the pallets will cause the collapse. When the boat collapses it destroyes water blocks under it as well. I would like to think this is a bug and not planned behavior as this breaks the environment of the game when it occurs.

Reproduce steps: Board one of the boats and start harvesting the pallets or picking up the barrels.

Actual result: Boats collapse under your feet and destroy water blocks in the environment.

Expected result: Boats dont collapse or collapse in such a way that they do not destroy the environment.
