Alpha 17 - 7 days to lag even at low settings

I've found POIs to lag immensely no matter what settings I use. Seems to be something to do with the new lighting. It reacts strangely, sometimes lagging badly just staring at a wall. Everything else runs buttery smooth for the most part, even getting close to POIs or walking thru Dierville isn't that bad, but as soon as I walk into one of them my FPS tanks! Even the abandoned houses you tend to start by. I haven't even been to any of the bigger POIs yet.. something isn't right here. My machine is no slouch.
After trying pretty much every setting combination I could think of short of lowering my resolution, I switched to 32 bit through the launcher and am no longer suffering the massive drops inside POI's. It limits your texture settings, etc, but I was getting massive drops using 64 bit inside POIs whether settings were highest or lowest. Hope this helps!
