PC Airdrop frozen

My game glitched out as the airdrop came. The plane is frozen in midair and parachute is still up. The crate is 1 meter in ground. I can not destroy it or search it.

Setting are

Multi player (Invite only)

Random gen

Seed is WnJ

Adventure

Zombies run is default

Enemy aggression is normal

Daylight is 18

Drop everything on death

Enemy memory is 60

Enemy spawn med

Block durability 100

Loot spawn time 5

Loot abundance 200

Airdrop 24

24 hr cycle

Mark airdrop on

No DLC

I was the only one playing at this time. There are 2 other that play with me.

Thank you for reporting this. Is this still occurring in your game or did a game/console reset remove the frozen items?

What would have been below the crate had it fallen? Grass / Car / Road etc ?

Hey Claire, restarted the xbox couple times nothing helped it was still frozen when I loaded back in. Unplugged my xbox 1 X for about 5 mins and it was gone when I loaded back in.

The crate was in dirt just below some grass. The next air drop came as it should with no problems.

Took some screen shots with my phone but have no idea how to upload it on here through my phone. If there is a email I can send it to I can that way. Thanks for the help

 
Hi Vtelmo,

You can use a third party image hosting like Imgur and post the link or if it's easier, send them to [email protected] - This email is unmanned though, so let me know if you send them there.

Sounds like a full clearing of the cache sorted you out. When you say in was in the dirt, did you have to dig down for it? It is possible to get the coordinates of where this was, if you remember?

Hey Clare, just notice I was spelling your name wrong im so sorry.

I sent the photos to the email. One is the plane and the air drop stuck and the other is how far I had to dig down to see it with the parachute still attached. It was grass and dirt. The white you see must be from the flash when I took the picture. I am looking for the drop now. Will update if I find it.

People generally don't notice when they spell my name wrong, so thank you :D

Thank you also for sending those photos on. I've retrieved them and will pass them onto the team members for investigation and to check to see if this is something we've seen before, or something new.

Interestingly there doesn't appear to be a marker on your compass when you're looking at the supply drop. I'll keep an eye for your update. Also if there's any chance of the rough coordinates or where this occurred that'd be awesome.

Hey Clare, rough is what I can give you. Must be when the crate disappeared it must of put the ground back to day 1 state. 1229S 1584E this should be pretty close.

 
Awesome, thank you for passing those on Vtelmo, rough should be enough.

Either the area was reset or it could have been that the cache had some code stuck in it that was cleared and the crate never registered as an object in the world. I'll need to check if it's an actual block when dropped or just an animation.
