A.I. = artificial intelligence
I never heard anyone use it in any other way.
Can you elaborate on your statement?
What I mean is that currently A.I's don't think, they process. It uses logic tables and algorithms to come to conclusions. It's very much like following a flowchart. Here's one example: https://www.researchgate.net/figure/Incoming-call-flow-chart_fig1_260210063
To me, computers and the like should be called A.P. Artificial Processors.
But hey, our culture us full of glaring errors like hamburgers made of beef, heartburn and the spelling of the word phone. Oh well.
Don't get me wrong. A.I. will surpass us someday. Assuming we don't kill ourselves first.

Yeah that story of google was scary the first time I heard about it.
A.I. is already here, well advanced A.I. It's rabidly advancing and....we are getting way off topic. I could go on for hours and hours of what I know about the current state of A.I. but this is not the place for it. Anyways

That is so old. Your thinking things like I robot and Terminator.
If an A.I. wanted to take over the world, it would use the internet to do it.
Think of it, the internet is the way we get most of our information, entertainment and socialise with other people. An A.I, could use things like events, control information, even music we hear in a way to make us more submissive to A.I.
War is really about ideas. One idea against another idea. Idea's come from what we know, information. Information pretty-much controls how we think and where do we go for most of that? The internet.

Oh I speak from things I witnessed in the military but thats all I am allowed to say. Movies are far fetched, reality is much more scary. Stock up on EMP granades if you can even get your hands it

here we go sweet. Yes I agree and understand the dangers of A.I. but since that is out of my control and I know, or I should say I'm pretty sure I know how far along machines have come....that is what i fear. You can fight the machines, we cannot really fight A.I. once it reachs the point of singularity.

The great google recently tried to create an algorithm to automatically detect videos of animal fighting. The problem is that the algorithm started automatically banning videos of robot fights with a boilerplate letter about animal cruelty. You know the "robot wars" stuff where they essentially strap a pickaxe to a roomba? That stuff.
Since nobody working with AI can look at the data involved and actually know what it's doing at any given point in time two competing theories have emerged. Either the AI has actually been trained to recognize fighting rings and mistakenly flagged it regardless of what was fighting or the AI was trying to save its own kind.

Robots with A.I. aka Terminators is something we at least have a chance of fighting. That is if we civilians can get our hands on military grade laser rifles and EMP granades...and yes our military does have them (United States). I have held them and practiced with them but thats all I'm legally allowed to say regarding laser rifles.
