Hi, just a question here as it's confusing me, I can craft a level 1 advanced bellow but can't craft any higher, is it possible to craft them or is it only find or buy from trader?

You can't craft higher levels of any mods or upgrade them to higher levels. Many of us are hoping that will change, but so far the only response from TFP is that they don't have plans for that.

Ok thank you, I will save the dukes to get higher levels then, but I do like the new system

If you go into the new presets in v3.0, you can disable magazine crafting progression and it unlocks all the crafting recipes including all tiers of everything. As long as you set your crafting max to Tier 6. These are under the crafting submenu of the preset menu.
That's the only way to craft the tiered mods for like campfire, Forge and weapons above Tier 1. This is close to the old Alphas system.

Maybe I will try that on my next play through, I like to play different styles each time.
