Refugee
Not a request for support, I don't really play Darkness Falls much because of the bugginess, but this one made me laugh a little. I was wandering around the world thinking it was feeling a bit quiet. Where are all the zombies? Where are all the animals? These were pressing questions, so I asked the universe "Where is everyone?"
And the universe answered.
"You're on holiday. You've gone to a small holiday town called Navezgane. Sure, the town is a bit run down, but it has a shop and security, and it's nestled among quiet hills on a lake side shore. And best of all, there's only one other tourist here!"
Come to think of it, if I feel the need to get away from it all and can't plan a holiday, I'm thinking I should just log into this game and enjoy nature for a while. An hour in game would be like having a full day holiday! I can go swimming, trek in the bush, do some urban exploring if I really felt like it. And when I get tired, I just head back to my little cabin by the lake side, where fire seems to never need stoking, and never quite burns out. If I feel like it, I can pick up one of the books from the bookshelf to enjoy a quiet night of reading. Strangely enough, the AirBNB host really enjoys books on crafting and and practical skills. All reference materials. Not a Tom Clancy, J. K. Rowling, or even a classic Shakespeare in sight! Oh well, can't have everything.
