It used to be 3, I changed it to 12.  More is possible but there isnt a good way to select each video, so 12 is a lot to click through already.   Playing 1 video in a loop could be done.    No way to rewind , sorry

I am the host, and the other people in game see a steady video. I figured maybe it's something in my settings or something, but I couldn't figure it out. There is one wall tv that replaces the vanilla small tv that plays static, or could play a public message if you changed that video0

 
For flickering video, it might be due to having two screens in close proximity playing the same video with the same videoplayer. I had that problem with a similar project I was testing--two screens next to each other with the same clip stuttered, but were fine with different clips (mine were actually different blocks which upgraded to the next block/clip in an endless loop).

increasing 3 to 12 is already fantastic indeed. but more is always better. But obv. not if it means a ton of complicated extra work on top.  Its just with 3 videos i had an idea for 6, now with 12 i have already 16+ potential vids of all sorts, short and long, i wanna play (thats why i had the idea for the 1 looping video screens so i can place screens according to "themes")

 
Yeah it would be nice if there was a setting or something to just play all 12 (or however many) videos one after another, then start over and keep playing them all. You probably need a loop command to do it. I used to make those for mIRC. They look like this, (I know it's a different language, but maybe it might help).|

Also, I can't seem to connect power to the Theater screen. The other ones seem to work though. If you made one the size of the vanilla Large TV, that would be cool.

OH, and here is an idea...make the billboards have room to put a solar panel and battery bank. That would make getting power to them easier.

This mod was made so no code was needed, and as such, has limited functionality.  It really needs an update with code to make a video selection interface, but that's not something I can do, I'm Unity and xml only.  

Theater screen can be hooked up, you just need to find the spot on the bottom.

 
I found this on google. It's a .xml loop command for making animations. I think a little tweaking could make it work for you.

Does it make sense to upscale a video? lets say a 640p video to 1080p and 60 fps to work better on the theater screen and billboard or will that only increase the size but not drastically the quality. I tried with a video but that went from 100 MB to more than 2 GB and i don't know if its worth it.

thx. good to know because that will save a  lot disk space.

And what could cause screens to get turned off or reset? I had 4 screens in my base playing 4 different videos.  I have been busy building my base, i also minimized the game a few times (while not paused) to watch a YT video and i noticed once i got back to my "living room" in my base that all screens were playing video00 instead of the ones i set them too and another time 2 were playing vid 00 and 2 were turned off.

 
The players seem to reset when the owner leaves the area.

my fav mod but we need updates dude. I want a specific video played on loop for a specific Tvplayer. I need to seperate the vids somehow, you know? all 12 in loop doesnt cut it. I need some vids just for my adult cinema, i need some hollywood movies for my car cinema, and some vids for my anime cinema. We need a way to categrize or seperate them, PLEASE!!!!

Maybe if you got a video editor and joined all the videos you want into one file. I use Camtasia, but there is a windows video editor I think.

See each time you turn them on/off they play the next video. So you can make up to 12 videos and by turning the screens on/off you can get the one you want to show up.

Sadly it looks like due to the offset on that POI screen, the old screen needs to be removed before placing new screen.  Otherwise it sticks out 1/2 a block from old screen.  I have to do a bit of alignment, and maybe make a new material for the screen , as im using Mweb now so it doesn't have structural integrity issues.  

 
i was gonna say that but i thought you will realize yourself. I have no problem with breaking the original screen first to place the new one. this looks awesome mate. gimme gimme gimme :)

and please seperate this mod in 3 mods. so i can place like 3 screens, but each screen has their own loop of 3-6 videos. As of now, it always loops all the 12 videos and always starts from the beginning, which can get annoying quickly. i would love to have 1 screen for films only, 1 screen for retrocommercials and 1 screen for cartoons.
