It would be a huge pain to fit in a map.

Maybe good as a wilderness POI though?

Or a small challenge map. Make do with what you have and survive in the air port, similar to the Dishong Tower and Diersville challenges.

Any word on Spiders being able to climb again, or being able to do anything unique? They are not really a threat at the moment imo beyond their annoying hit box. It'd be cool if they got a ranged web stun attack or something if the wall climb is too much work
They are fun to kill in air. Their animation when you shot him during jump is cool.

Seriously though, we should be able to sell dukes for more dukes. 10 dukes per duke like I had suggested before. Once you loot a duke, you can then sell that duke for 10 dukes, then 10 dukes for 100, then 100 for 1000, then 1000 for 10,000, then 10,000 for 100000, then 100000 for 1 million, then 10 million, then 100 million, then a billion, then 10 billion, then 100 billion, then a trillion, and then...

They are unique, they jump high and wide. If you only have a melee cage you won't notice, people with elevated platforms usually find a lot of them gnawing their toes.

Simple question, new to the forums, so I haven't checked; is there an end game goal, or just survive until you're bored? Like a story within the game, or something to find, POI to cleanse to give you an ending with like credits, so you can decide if you've had enough, or just reload your file right before end segment and keep playing to continue to try and save off vs larger and stronger hordes?

Survive until you're bored... For now.

Potentially silly example. Add it as a DLC like Left 4 Dead's Last Stand.

Every night is horde night and you've got the day to get your stuff together and prepare.

Or perhaps you have to survive x amount of days until a helicopter can take you to safety, or you die. Whichever comes first. Every night is horde night, with each one becoming noticeably more challenging than the last.

Edit: Wouldn't fit the lore of the game though, so nevermind.

I'm liking where this is going though. Very interesting indeed.

Sorry I meant "eventually in the long term plan" by "goal" not is there anything to do atm for a goal, as I understand that atm there's no real end game, just lather-rinse and repeat.
It's planned that in a future update, there will be bandits and a final boss called The Duke of Navezgane. The player will have to do a bunch of quests and eventually will be sent to meet the Duke. How the final battle will go and what will happen after is unknown for now.

Duke: Let the final battle begin!

"Duke pulls out a Yu-Gi-Oh deck"

since a19.4 is in experimental, and this looks like it was a simple fix, you did it so damn fast. is this one that will be back ported or just hold my horses and wait til a20

Alpha 20 won't be out for months. My guess would be the final quarter of this year, although there's no telling really.

Excellent. So many survival/crafting games don't seam to have an end game (at least ones still in early access I guess) so having one planned even in the long term makes me happy.
Personally I'd probably take forever to get to said ending, enjoying my building then, but I know some people would like the opposite; rush to the end, then build until their hearts are content. The smart money is to allow both.
