Hey Guys, please excuse my newness to not only this site but new to 7Days with only 2 weeks of playing (man what an awesome game!!). I know I am playing alpha 20.5 (b2) but this post is talking about alpha 20.6! How do I update to this version. As far as toning down the birds I read here, everytime Im on my bike (no less on roofs) they follow me everywhere and kick the crap out of me...lol!! Still need to firm up my clubs power or so to beat them soon. Im getting there and finally got some guns now too..wooot!! No issues with any part of this game at all, just chiming in for how to upgrade to improved levels here. Thanks in advance. -Tony

As long as you have the Steam-version of the game, just read and follow the instructions on the beginning of the fist post here ("To participate"...).
If you're not on Steam - I dunno

Welcome to our great love of 7Days! See above post about how to update.. It's a lot about timing with the birds... Trying to shoot them is a bit difficult since their hit box is small. Enjoy the game!

I asked Pickysaurus (Nexus dev) to look at these changes for the Vortex extension but I see a problem if users set their own path and nobody knows where to find it.
Edit: found it in AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\launchersettings.json. Feels like an odd spot to me tho.
