Hey Survivors!
So we made a base in a forest biome and we are trying to levcel the ground. It seems when we put a terrain block down it is never what we actually place but it only takes the texture of what we removed.
We remove a dirt block, put down a forest block it looks like dirt. Pile it up and it just looks like dirt. Same with sand, and asphalt. The block we put down will always just look like what is down already. So we cant landscape a yard or add a road. I know in all previous versions we always did this but it just doesnt work here. Why would TFP change this? or am I doing something wrong??
Also noticed that the surface level of the terrain isnt something you can change. It looks like a spot has like a block and a half height. Dig down 1 block so all the area is level. That one spot, you put 1 block of dirt and its 1 and a half high again. So unless you manually flatten an area you have to have the terrain generated and you cant change it.
Thought maybe it was because we were at a POI so I went to the middle of nowhere and tried to lay asphalt. Lay asphalt it ended up looking like stone, dirt, and grass, just depending on where I laid it. Break it and I get stone or clay back depedning what the terrain looked like.
Anyone know if this is fixed in a19?? Or is this just how it's going to be now?
