Have the night vision goggles been removed from the game?

Haven't found one yet after about 50 hours of looting, so just wondering if it's bad luck RNG or if they even exist anymore?

They are still in the game, got a pair in a zombie loot bag in my last game.

Have not checked the loot lists to see where else they drop though.
